ive been invited to do a 1 hour powerpoint presentation at my local library on find a grave and what we do as volunteers.
how would you structure it in a way that’s educational, shows what we do and doesn’t weird people out. remember you only have 1 hour.
My edges on this part of the shawl in my double knit are a mess. I dropped a stitch early on and it’s just sad to look at. I tried the edge suggestion by sockmation and various other YouTube’s and it’s just not working. I wish I could fix this so it doesn’t look like a mess and make it neater and have an edge stitch for double knit patterns that works.
i really don’t want to start over because every row is like 200 stitches and it’s taken me months just to get to like 40 rows.
help. Thoughts ? Solutions ?
and on today’s episode of weird glitches. I fell off a platform in the burial chamber level and glitched into the wall💀👀🤣🤣🤣🤣
omg what is going on with the wait times for licenses ?
I followed all the rules and applied online for the 5 year renewal (my first time) back on APRIL 11th
I paid my $40 and was told 4-6 weeks… which went by and so in June I emailed and was told it was probabaly lost in the mail and they would reprint it and to expect it in 7-10 business days. I wait and then July comes around and I email again on the 1st and they just answer with “we've reprinted it and to expect in mail in 7-10 buisness days.” It’s the 20th and I still don’t have it..how hard is it to send something !?!
My renewal deadline is the first week of October and this is what I get for trying to be proactive.
can I just take my $40 receipt to a dmv and be like “hey print it or refund me..”
I’m just picturing 3 licenses lost somewhere in the mail now...

Completely out of character for him I know. but I wouldn’t mind reading something like it.
7 years later and I still haven’t found what happened to my great great grandfather Elias August Fredericks. Has anyone hired a genealogist to looking for a missing person? can you recommend someone ? I suspect he “left” around 1890 or so.

at this point id be ok hiring someone to solve this. Is there a person or organization who can research missing persons from 1890 If you pay them? I just want to find him.. what happened to him? When did he die? Where is he buried if at all so I can go to it and give flowers ?
