Hey Lands of Lore 3 Fans did you know there is a Way to Aquire the Ruby of Truth early in the Game to Achieve this Quest You need to do These Steps.

1. Start the Game and Play for until you get to the Gate leading to the Sewers in Gladstone enter the Sewers and head into the Sewers until you see Twin Doors leading into the Thieves Guild Sewers Doors, Save your Game now open those doors and pass through the Door to the Right and up the Steps and click the key panel to exit through the Secret Door with a Key imprint on it now go Up the steps and out the Grate Jumping up and You land out in the Lower Gladstone area now head into the Tavern.

2 Talk to Mauri You can talk to him too if You encounter Him in the Tavern and didn't enter through the Sewers and entered the Gate entrance to Lower Gladstone that way.

3. Now then Mauri Provided You didn't join the Thieves Guild Will ask You to Sell His Key to Mojo Take the Key

4. Unlock any Chests with it or Copy the Key with a Mimic Stone 3 can be found... One under the Water near the Draracle's Lair, One in a Tree and One in the Rich Folks Area in Upper Gladstone to get inside this area Early Requires Ice Seeds and Stone Cubes, You'll have to leap up into the Twin Doors that won't open in Upper Gladstone that lead to the Rich Folks Area near the Fountain.

5. Using the Stone Cubes and Ice Seeds from Lower Gladstone and the Trees in the Forest and the Lava Realm Portal You can get 3 Stone Cubes and the Ice World will Open Up but Only if You Trigger the Ice World Portal by Finding Anu the Draracle in the Lava Realm.

6. Once You Teleport out of the Draracle's You can find the Ice World Portal Open Find the Ice Seeds Then Return to the Rich Folks Area with the Blocked Twin Doors near the Fountain.

7. Use the Ice Seeds to leap from the Twin Doors Step and lastly the Stone Cube lastly the Step is very Small but it allows jumping and leaping from anyway.

Now then Leap and Save to get the Twin Door area Leaped Over and Unlock it from the back area You enter be Patient it takes time and skill and effort.

8. Now after You Explore the Housing of the Rich Folks area return to the Sewers and Sell the Key to Mauri, Return to Mauri in the Lower Gladstone Tavern and He will award You a Payment Again and Again.

9. Close Two Portals 

10. Return to Mauri for the Ruby Quest after Closing 2 Portals

Mauri will ask You to Sell His Ruby of Truth Pendant take the Ruby that appears on the Tavern Floor note this won't happen if You didn't meet Mauri Before You Join the Thieves Guild so don't expect it to work also don't Fire at enemies while entering the Sewers with a Fire Bow doing so Crashes the Game

12. You can Crash the Game by Looking at Your Journal when You Open or Close it or by Triggering the Tortured Souls Area  which is Triggered by Opening and closing gates and then opening a panel and clicking near the Gladstone Keep doorway.

14. Once You have the Ruby Pendant Return to Gladstone Keep and Enter the Castle You can Only enter the Keep Once a Portal is Closed.

15. In the Keep explore and a Cutscene should happen You get locked out Exit the Keep and ReEnter now You can Open a Door and Dawn Appears Go Up the Stairs and Luther can be talked to and He gives a Special Weapon

16. Now Save and Give Him the Pendant or Dawn Dawn will take it and Give You Money but Luther will Give You Money and if You Saved You can Give him the Item Again and Again and Luther will Keep Giving You Money.

17. Now Return to Maur and the Tavern and He Gives You a Kings Writ

18. Mauri can't Give You anything else though He's Supposed to Give a Money Stick Next but the Gog Version won't allow this until that Bug is Fixed.

19. Playing the Cd versions Available here will Help You accomplish this Quest Whatever happens after I don't know Perhaps the Money Stick Locates some Other Important Clue Location or Item.

20. Have Fun Cd Version Available Online You will Need a Cd Rom Player to Play this Quest Exists Only inside the Cd Data

There is a Few Added Areas most notably the Marina and Jeron's Office and the Place where King Richard was layed as well as twins to Nathanials and Victors other then that everything is pretty much the same. Victor has been fixed as has Luther
