The last time I posted here, I got a lot of DMs from guys...I'm flattered, but it's not gonna happen, OK?

Parking for the cricket on a Tuesday?

Hi all, where is a reasonably priced (say a tenner?) spot to park if I'm spending a day at the County Ground? Up to fifteen minutes walk away is fine. Does High Chelmer stay open late?

Seem to be...

My NSFW account u/BlueCatBuxton I posted in a new sub for the first time, and shortly afterwards can't view my profile. No warning, no email...

Automixing, but the option is off?

Over the last week, Spotify has started to automix tracks, and I absolutely hate it. I have 'Gapless playback' and 'Automix' off, and Crossfade set to 0s, as I always have.

It happens on regular listening, as well as Android Auto, I've toggled everything off and again, but it's still doing it. Any ideas?

'Rover' tickets for internal flights?

I'm in the very early stages of planning a trip from the UK to visit some American friends who are geographically spread out (Raleigh, Portland OR, SLC, Dallas).

I'm well aware of the distances between these cities, and that trains are either non-existent or will take a long time, so obviously I'll be flying.

In the UK, there are 'Rover' or 'Ranger' tickets for trains, where you can travel on as many trains as you want within a certain period e.g. 14 days. They're a fixed price, so the more trains you travel on, the better value it is.

Does such a thing exist for US internal flights, even if tied to a specific airline?

Neither Bonzo nor Nobes got an England cap. Which was the bigger injustice?

Imo, Nobes never even getting a call-up was scandalous. Bonzo at least made the squad...

Continuity brilliance...

American lady in a Scotland shirt being interviewed on BBC Breakfast, saying she wants to meet Rod Stewart, as he likes a tall blonde...

...the next words broadcast are 'Colin Hendry...'

...as they cut to a clip of him leading out the team the last time they played Brazil!

Inspiral Carpets 'This Is How It Feels'

Is there a name for the version that has 'Black car moves through the town...', for when I'm looking for it on streaming, YT etc.?

We've never brought back this shirt. It's what we wore the last time we stormed the Second Division...now is the time!

If you were around in the 80s, you'll remember the Government campaign 'Heroin screws you up'. There was a spoof on a sketch show, with a man saying things like 'Yeah, so they shut down the mine and I lost my job. But it's OK, I can handle it' and 'I know my brother got hurt in the Falklands. But it'll be fine, I can handle it', and the punchline was 'Voting Tory really screws you up'. I thought it was Not The Nine O'clock News but I can't find it on available YT episodes. Trying to think of other shows of the era, possibly Three Of A Kind, or Laugh? I Nearly Paid My Licence Fee... Does anyone recognise it?
