What's the storage limit for Ankiweb?

I'm afraid of my collection climbing up to the storage limit and then failing to sync. Is there a way to replace ankiweb with a cloud storage like Google Drive or set it up locally if something like that were to happen?

Is it alright to have "Learn ahead limit" set higher than the learning steps? (I like to review all anki cards in one sitting and be done with it for the day)

I hope there's not much of an impairment to short-term memory or something like that, I heard it's not all that important because the cards really begin to stick when you review them over time.

What the hell is a "basketball-sized nothing"??

I am currently reading "Right Concentration" by Leigh Brasington. It's a pretty good book that gives me a deeper understanding of Jhānas but at the same time I can't help but laugh at some of the descriptions. It's amazing. Immaterial Jhānas are so confusing.

Is it safe to upgrade to Anki 26.05 and also using AnkiDroid 2.24.0?

Does it have any FSRS scheduling incompatibility issues? (That's the main thing I'm worrying about, as I review cards both on my phone and pc)

What's the best way to improve low AR reading skill?

I suck at low ar. I feel like a new player whenever I play low star maps because the acc is shit even though I should be able to do better... it genuinely feels like my brain is built for fast paced maps. HOWEVER I know this is not true and that this is something I can change.

I think low star maps can train my reading but what if I instead play a lot of EZ mod? Since it already accounts for low AR but also for high note density and bigger hit circles in general. If I'm able to progress in all of those things at once then wouldn't I? It's like killing 3 birds with one stone.

A theory I have (As an anime-only)

I just watched the new episode (S4E11) and a thought came up to me as Subaru and Emilia were falling at the end.

Subaru in his inner monologue was asking himself if "this is the end". He then refused that conclusion as he gained the motivation to keep moving forward.

Would've he died forever if he accepted his fate? A few minutes earlier in the episode he was almost fully "absorbed" by the witch of envy and was okay with his life ending right there in that moment because he simply had no reason or will to live anymore. Was that split second in which he refused to give up the key that triggered his next loop?

This seems connected to the story as well (there may be other occurences I haven't listed):

• At the very start of the series, when Subaru is laying in a pool of blood at the loot house, he is vowing to Emilia "I swear, I'm going to save you!!" <--- (did he gain RBD here because of the promise?)

• In Season 1 Ep 7 he says the same thing after he jumps off the cliff, determined to save Rem and everyone else.

If this is true, it would mean Return By Death is activated only if the user of the authority has a certain amount of will/determination to keep going and not give up.

It would be interesting if this theory is valid because it seems deeply related to Buddhist philosophy.

According to Buddhism, all sentient being are trapped in Samsara (an endless cycle of death, rebirth and suffering), and to escape Samsara you need to attain Nirvana, which roughly translates to english as "extinguished". Why extinguished? because the conditions for Samsara to take place include Craving (an insatiable desire for sensory pleasures, or existence) and Grasping (Craving deepens into grasping, which is the strong attachment and clinging to these desires, leading to ego-building, aversion, and emotional confusion).

And so if Craving and Grasping (Subaru's will and motivations) cease to be, there's nothing to trigger Samsara (Return by Death), and so his flame of existence extinguishes forever.

Is belief in Buddhist cosmology necessary for stream entry?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I see "stream entry" more as a shift in consciousness or being than some mystical attainment that is limited to a particular belief or religion.

I tried to dive deeper into Buddhism as a whole and I really, REALLY like its philosophy. It just has this realness to it that other religions (Abrahamic ones in particular, coming from a Christian background) seem to lack. I find it amazing how it genuinely has measurable effects on the brain and body. I mean, isn't it really cool how you can connect experienced meditators to MRI machines and observe how their brains work on a fundamentally different level than regular people's?

All being said, I can't bring myself to believe in all the things present in the Pali Canon. Siddhis, devas talking to the Buddha, the fact that you can be reborn as a lower realm being and be tortured in hell (Naraka?) for literal eons that translate to more than trillions of years. It's just a bit too much for me to take in.

I also don't wanna call myself a "Secular Buddhist" because it seems like I only pick and choose what I like from the religion and throw away everything else. Also people on r/buddhism seem to really not be fond of Secular Buddhism as a whole, lol.

Cat de mult conteaza facultatea la care mergi in IT?

Which nootropic/stack works to erase procrastination and make it easier to study for a prolonged amount of time?

Tried Bromantane sublingual but I can't tell if it did much.
