DLSS/RTX/Graphics Upscaling? Anyone experimented with this?
I've been thinking about how awesome it'd be to give Spiral Knights a bit of a modern visual facelift. Since the game's running on an older Java and OpenGL engine, native support for stuff like DLSS obviously isn't a thing. But I'm really curious if anyone's experimented with external upscaling tools.
Have you guys tried messing around with things like:
- Lossless Scaling or Magpie (for spatial upscaling or frame gen)
- Reshade with ray-traced global illumination (RTGI) or ambient occlusion shaders
- Nvidia Control Panel / AMD Software driver-level upscaling
If you've tried any of this, did you actually notice a nice visual upgrade, or did it just mess up the UI and make the text unreadable?
