What kind of Begonia is this?
Purchased as a tissue culture labeled ‘Ferox’.
While beautiful, this plant is not what I thought a ferox is supposed to look like. Can anyone weigh in?

Hoya caudata blooming for the first time in my care.
No noticeable scent
Hoya elliptica bloomed for me the first time this morning!
The flowers smell like honeydew melon.
My Epiphyllum guatemalense 'Monstrose', aka Curly Orchid Cactus flowered and fruited. Last night I finally got to harvest the fruit! I did taste it but it was pretty bland (as dragonfruit tends to be). What I was most excited for was the actual seeds!! I sowed 60 seeds total and I’m quite excited!
I apologize, I was so excited to sow the seeds that I completely forgot to get a pic of a solo seed! You can still seed that they are curly in the final photos.
Hoya BNT02099 (‘Sunrise’ x unknown)
Hoya ‘Rebecca’
Hoya burmanica (Polyneura Complex)
Hoya BNT05096 (AH003 x unknown)
Hoya BNT04098 (‘Colonel Meekin’s’ x unknown)
Flowers are coming in for the first time and they look insane! Are they open yet? I don’t even know…
Hoya BNT02099 (‘Sunrise’ x unknown)
Extremely fragrant, the smell strongly of a sweet cross between Rose and Dandelion.

Can’t wait to taste it and collect some seeds
I just put this plant in this tent about 2 weeks ago and it had a tiny leaf starting on this vine. I didn’t expect this lol
I found a beautiful Monstera ‘Lemon Lime’ for only $20 at my local Walmart last night!
And then I found a looking stunning Monstera ‘Thai Constellation’ with only one leaf that’s with burn marks for $25 but I asked for a discount because of its condition and they gave it to me for $10!
Obviously I brought them both home even though I already have both plants. Who could pass that up?
😍😍
Pics 1-2: Hoya BNT02099 (‘Sunrise’ x unknown) (left) and Hoya ‘Rebecca’ (right) are both bloom right now!!
Pics3-7: Hoya BNT02099 (‘Sunrise’ x unknown) flowers and full plant. The flowers are slightly spicy but will strongly of rose.
Pics 8-12: Hoya ‘Rebecca’ flowers and full plant. The flowers smell like a sweet cross between rose and dandelion. No hint of spiciness like BNT02099.
I did attempt cross-pollination however the pollinia of Hoya ‘Rebecca’ were SO small that even with 25x magnification, I was hardly able to see them. So I abandoned my attempt. Maybe I’ll get lucky and some insects will help me out with some seed pods
I got these plants last year as corms and the differences were noticeable as soon as the leaves emerged. One has a green petiole and the other is pink. The green one is lightly spotted but the pink one is heavily spotted.
The leaves also look slightly different to me.
The corms are the same size, about 3-3.5” diameter.
I apologize in advance for my relatively poor photos. I didn’t realize how bad they were until I starting writing this post.
The seed was sown in June 2023. She’s been growing like a weed this season and finally pushed out her first peduncle recently! (Not pictured).
This plant single handedly started my Hoya seeding obsession.

New left (right) next to hardened off leaf (left)
This beauty started kicking out some extra large leaves! I can’t wait to see how this one grows over the summer.
I forgot to tell them happy birthday so they got a mini photo shoot and repotted afterwards to make up for it.
There are my keepers from accession code:

While repotting my Philodendron ‘Florida Beauty’ today. I noticed its roots completely wrap around and have grabbed onto the support rod! In three spots!
Plants are so cool.
No noticeable scent from these flowers but the nectar is slightly sweet.

Looks like we’ve got one!
14 days ago I attempted to cross my Hoya suquintuplinervis with my seed-grown Hoya MV2520-BNT04 (EPC271 x unknown). I pollinated 10 flowers on my subquintuplinervis and it looks like at least one, was a success! (The one on the right is yellowing too much for my liking and has not swelled much at all.)
