Disrespect Has No Place in Thailand: A BTS Incident That Sparked Outrage

I just watched a video that made me incredibly angry.

A young woman shared her experience while riding the BTS Silom Line on her way home. Just before arriving at Sala Daeng Station, she heard loud shouting from outside the train. When the doors opened, a large group of foreign young people boarded the train, yelling, laughing, and talking loudly throughout the carriage.

She said that even with her headphones on, the noise was impossible to ignore. She politely asked them, "Could you please keep your voices down?"

One woman in the group replied, "We don't even know where we're going next, so we're just talking."

The Thai woman responded, "You can still talk normally. There's no need to scream. People don't behave like that here."

The foreign woman then replied, "Sorry for bringing money to your country."

The Thai woman answered, "You're being disrespectful."

The situation quickly escalated into a heated argument. According to the video, members of the group continued provoking her. One of the most offensive moments came when one of them grabbed the front of his pants and made a degrading gesture while saying something directed at her, which appeared to be a blatant insult toward Thai women.

When the group finally got off the train, they continued shouting insults, knocked on the train window, and even gave her the middle finger.

Watching this was infuriating.

Thailand welcomes respectful visitors from all over the world, regardless of nationality. But tourists who behave with arrogance, disrespect, and complete disregard for local people have no place here.

Respect is free. If you can't respect the country you're visiting, then don't expect a warm welcome.

My friend bought a Nabalis Hydra blade to replace the stock blade on his Armed Shark Tsunami Clone. But as soon as he started putting it together, he ran into some problems... So I told him, "Send me some pictures first. Don't do anything yet." And this is what he sent me instead... 🫣🤣
