Hi, I wanted to experiment painting a wall in my room myself. I needed to understand few things, can someone please guide..

1. In case I mess up the wall I need something on which paint can be applied again
2. What brushes are needed
3. What is process like- first the existing paint, then apply a distemper & then main coat etc etc
4. What paint brands are best
5. Is there a process to get the paints mixed to get the right color ?

So I have taken a break from corporate hussle after exhausting even my soul forget bodily pains, mental numbness.. it will take sometime to shed off that tiredness & exertion.

Now, that am looking beyond corporate, spending time on social media to understand what’s going on. Started noticing small businesses founder creating a lot of content, sharing details.. is it a norm ? That u need to face the camera? I am feeling highly under confident to do any of it. But is it much needed otherwise my business won’t look legit ? Or may be it will be AI?

Like i create a good product in mid price range, then spend enormous amount on Photography (not going to use AI, because I don’t buy products which are using AI, they don’t look genuine & u can easily identify Ai), then I start posting content but I need to show people esply MYSELF. Otherwise my high quality product has no sales? Did I understand this correctly ? It looks terrifying! Isnt a founder already burdened with everything (what if they r short on staff mostly I have seen) now they gotta do this too?? 😭😭😭 let me go back to corporate Atleast salary toh aaegi .. job security is secondary.

It’s been happening constantly over the past few months. Whether you call a plumber, carpenter, electrician, or sewage cleaner—their strategy is quote an outrageous amount so that the gullible ones end up paying like my dad, he said - “Gurgaon hai toh dena hoga." 🤷🏻‍♀️

Recently, called a sewage cleaner because obviously the local municipal is useless so we gotta do it ourselves. His first demand is 2000 for a 10min work, we were adamant on ₹500 ! He refused and walked away. 2 days later, he came back will do at 500! Because of his attitude, we told him we’d only pay ₹200. Ultimately, he settled for ₹250 for a job that took exactly 5 minutes. Imagine from ₹2,000 to ₹250! 🤯

Second one carpenter - Needed some office repair work done. It was an hour-long job, max. He started with need 2 labours so will charge a full day labour per head. I m like WTF! Realistically, it was a 1000rs job. Still no option left, we called him. He said "Sir, we just try to get as much money as possible at one go." 🤯 imagine the audacity to that on our face! What kind of daylight robbery is going on here?

Has everyone completely stopped using logic with their pricing? Or are we all paying because Gurgaon h toh Dena hoga! Dont ask about AC repair n any electrical repair guy! Forget about RO guy! Sab mil kar loot rahe h kyaaa 😭😭😭😭

I need to lose weight & get more strength+agility but the problem is am super lazy when it comes to any fitness activity. All my life I have been skinny so never got into this habit but now I have gained a lot of weight(thanks to several health issues due to workload).

I hate gym (reason I have burnt money in both ATF & Cult year after year, didnt help anyway) cult could have but the way they mismanage centres & classes really annoyed me so I stopped using it. Now, I don’t want to invest in these big chains it’s sheer wastage of money a lazy person like me.

I try walking often but being allergic to dust done days it’s not easy to step out, esply these days with dust storms. Thou I think I can start early morning walks.

Last, it is a blessing to stay with parents except they don’t understand the concept of eating less rice or chapatti.. har din 2 chapatti daat k saath khana padta h. I completely understand it’s a blessing but I seriously want to lose weight..

Yoga i try sometimes but as I have spondylitis I end up injuring myself that ultimately leads to weeks or months of break. Started kathak but it’s not helping with weight loss.. except I every time get to know one body part which is stiff making me look weird while dancing.

Please help in motivating with cheap fitness options. TIA :)

Well Life is sh!t & if I start ranting it going to be long post for which I have to write rewrite undo redo edit save n what not. Plus, I ain’t taking advise from strangers whose life may be more weird or happier than me but few sarcastic/fun/meme-worthy response might lighten the mood for today! TIA :)
