Bought a new psvr2 but it appears to be B-stock.

Hi guys,
I recently bought a PSVR2 from Joybuy for $330 on sale. It was advertised as brand new, but when it arrived, I noticed:
-One original seal sticker was broken.
-Both original seals had newer stickers layered over them.
-The box has some physical scuffs/wear (see pictures).

Aside from that, the rest of the packaging looks new or well-preserved.
I didn’t open to check the headset itself.

However, I'm mad that I seemingly received B-stock instead of a new item.

Joybuy has a 30-day return policy, but when I asked for a replacement, customer service dishonestly claimed it was too late because 16 days had passed.
They finally agreed to a replacement, but now I don't trust them.

My dilemma: I want to return it because I don’t’ trust them anymore, but I'm afraid I won't find another deal this cheap ($330)—especially since Sony seems to be phasing out the PSVR2 and stock might dry up.

Has anyone dealt with Joybuy replacements before? Should I risk the exchange or just get a refund and wait for another sale elsewhere ?

Thanks

Is it just a march or a patrol ? Or is it just bad hasbara ?

Hi guys,
I have seen this news right and left on my feed about a far left group named rubicon in Thessaloniki (Greece) doing a anti Zionist « patrol ».

A quick google search : only what seems biased sources are relating the info as is.
I find the wording « patrol » very agressive to make it seem like a lynch mob.
Apparently, it’s an anarchist group that went to make some noise in places where there are Israeli investments and tourists and it is portrayed as a hunting party for Jews…..

Anyone in here ideally from Greece can give us more information about this.

Thanks

PSVR 2 ? Advice

Hi guys,

I'd like to get your opinion. The PSVR 2 is currently on sale for €330, and I'm thinking about buying one.

I already own the PSVR1, and I really enjoyed playing Resident Evil 7 on it. I never finished it because I got too busy, but I've always wanted to go back to it. I also really liked Astro Bot, Saints & Sinners, Wipeout, and Skyrim VR. I intended to return to it eventually to play other games like Ace Combat 7, Hitman, Beat Saber, SUper HOT, Moss, Ghost Giant

Like many of you, I was very happy and excited when the PSVR2 was announced, especially to play Resident Evil 8, among other titles.

However, I felt the headset's price was a bit high compared to the game lineup available. I only regained interest in it when they announced PC compatibility. The idea of having a headset to play Resident Evil 8/Horizon call of the mountain on my PlayStation 5, and then plugging it into my computer to play Half-Life: Alyx and all the VR-modded games (like Alien: Isolation, for example) sounded great.

But I'm really disappointed after reading posts and watching YouTube videos. They mention Bluetooth connection issues even with the dongle, and the need for the Globular Cluster mod to make it comfortable. On top of that, some of the headset's built-in features aren't supported on PC; even if some mods have fixed a few of these issues, it still looks like a major headache.

I won't repeat what everyone has already said about how Sony messed up on this one. So, I'm debating whether to buy the headset brand new and add the necessary accessories (adapter + Globular Cluster kit) for an extra $100 for a product that they are letting go, in an economy that is what it is or to buy it used—with all the risks that come with second-hand gear (some are listed at €175).

Part of me just wants to buy it for the sake of collecting.

I want to hear opinions, thanks guys.

Question about dual-camera audio alerts for twins (Babyphone BM04)

Hi Momcozy Team,

I recently purchased a new baby monitor system through your official website after returning a previous Amazon order due to a faulty microphone.

On this new unit, both microphones work great, but I have a question regarding how the audio works with two cameras when the alert is triggered.

When both of my twins are sleeping and the screen is off, a baby crying will trigger a visual alert on the screen. However, I can only actually hear the audio if that specific baby's camera happens to be the one highlighted/selected on the screen at that moment. If the other camera is selected, I get the alarm but no audio.

The thing is, the highlighted camera on the screen is the one that was selected during the last time the babyphone was used.

Setting a loud alarm isn't ideal for us because our twins often cry for just 2–3 seconds before falling back asleep. A full alarm wakes us up unnecessarily 10–12 times a night (true story of the last two nights)
We have to check each time the screen to stop the alarm, change the selected camera if needed by pressing the "OK" button for 2-3 seconds and then assess if the baby is still crying or not, whereas we just want to hear the audio briefly to judge if they are actually waking up.

Is there a way to configure the monitor so that the audio automatically switches to whichever camera detects sound? We would love to be able to hear the crying immediately without having to manually wake up, turn on the screen, and switch cameras.

Thank you,

pC compatibility with PSVR2

Hi,

I am planning on getting the PSVR2 for my PS5 and also for my Pc if I can.
It’s a legion with a 32G ram and an Nvidia rtx 3070 8Go vram.

Will it run most Vr games ?
Also, I heard that the graphic card has to be connected to the USB C port somehow for the adaptor to work…… cans lemons confirm this and how can I know if it is.

Thanks for helping an old noob.

BEAT VIP experience

Hi

I will be seeing BEAT in a few days and and got myself the VIP Meet & Greet package!

I was wondering if the band will be signing personal items brought by fans? I would love to bring one of my vinyl records to get autographed but i want to make sure it's allowed before carrying it around with me for the night.

Can anyone tell me if they already saw them during the previsou tour.

Thanks

Need help with momcozy BM04

Hi,
My wife and I got a BM04 to help monitor our twins.

The one we got before was pretty simple, no video and would activate for any kid of sound giving us that weird static noise whenever one of the babies would move, so we decided to upgrade.

So we set it up yesterday. Video worked perfectly but the audio detection was useless. Babies kept crying without it triggering the BM.
It did however detect the sound of the door being opened and closed.

Put one of the cameras in another room to test it. It did detect sound when i hit the table it was on with my fingers. It did trigger the alarm depending on the sensitivity of the vox system but it didn’t not detect the sound of my voice or when i gave it baby crying sounds with my phone right next to it.

What could be the problem ? am i doing something wrong ? Should I send it back ?

Thanks for the help.
