Moderate faecal loading of the proximal colon: tingling sensation

I started to get a tingling sensation in the upper-right abdomen about two months ago. An x-ray month ago revealed moderate faecal loading, and I was prescrbed Movicol 8x sachets a day for three days.

The tingling sensation was perhaps a little reduced. Last week I had a CT scan which showed moderate faecal loading of the proximal colon and mild faecal loading of the remaining colon and rectum. I have once again been prescribed the Movicol 8x sachets a day for three days.

Has anyone had anything similar? I have no constipation symptoms: only the tingling. I've always had a high fibre diet too.

Has anyone seen Nagi Notes?

Nagi Notes is showing at the Melbourne International Film Festival, and I'm thinking of seeing it.

Have you seen this movie, and if so would you recommend it?

I enjoy intimate dramas which emphasise connections between people, but I also appreciate a certain level of entertainment.

Critics seem impressed, but punters not so much?

Recommendations for the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM)?

IFFM is fast approaching and with 134 titles it's hard to know what to see.

Some Indian films I've enjoyed in the past are Piku, Dhanak, Newton, Hindi Medium, The Lunchbox, Village Rockstars and The Storyteller.

Here is the list:

Thanks!

What is causing the deformity in these Acacia iteaphylla phyllodes?

These phyllodes are from one tree in a block of about 200 Acacia iteaphylla in 20 inch pots. (Victoria, Australia). Only this one tree has the deformation, but all the phyllodes are affected.

Misdiagnosed with constipation based on x-ray?

I went to the GP because of an intermittent pins-and-needles sensation in the upper-right abdomen, which I assumed was muscular.

I had no constipation symptoms but the GP sent me to get an abdominal x-ray. The report showed "moderate fecal loading", so the GP prescribed the laxative Movicol (same brand as his notebook).

As prescribed, I took eight sachets per day for three days. I did poop a lot on the first day, with much less on the second and third days.

The pins-and-needles sensation remains.

I gather that x-rays are not a very accurate way of detecting constipation?

Has anyone else had similar experiences?

I have another GP appointment next week and physiotherapy, which I think will resolve the abdominal issue. Fortunately it's all $0 for me, but I wonder how much money is wasted on x-rays for these issues.

Gloves for cycling in frost

I've tried several different kinds of gloves to protect my hands on frosty mornings, and I've found that heated gloves are the only effective ones.

However, the ones I bought were cheap gloves from eBay and didn't last very long. They were also bulky, and ideally I want gloves that I use work in at my horticulture job, as well as cycling.

Do you have any recommendations for gloves that prevent pain in the fingers when cycling in very cold weather, preferably slim and durable enough to use for horticulture tasks as well?

Thanks.

Is this a radar glitch or a genuine rainfall pattern?

This is a screenshot of the Bureau of Meteorology's app this morning.

Is it a glitch in the radar itself, or does precipitation sometimes look like this?

Question about collecting prayer beads in Buddhism

Hello,

I was listening to an interview with Korean-American filmmaker Celine Song, in which she mentioned that, in Buddhism, one has to visit a temple every day for month to receive a wooden prayer bead.

Do you know which form/s of Buddhism to which she's referring? I hadn't heard about this before.

Thanks

Can you identify this packaging material?

This packaging came in a cardboard box to secure an ebike wheel. The box is full of them, so I am just trying to find out what they are. Then I can find out if the local recycling centre will take them.

I reached out to the ebike company, but they don't know what the material is. It has some give when your squeeze it.

Is it EPE (polyfoam)?

Thanks.
