I need help with concert tickets

Okay so I secured a ticket for day 2 NY and seeing all the concert clips on twitter, I just can't just do one day so I'm now getting tickets for day 1. I'm a 2017 army and have seen the boys getting into their cars at the UN and Vmin had waved at me (bc they got bombarded that same morning and at the airport so they were just pleasantly surprised we were well behaved) anyways that's the only time I've seen them and I want to see them perform so bad and when I see the clips, it seems that the best seats are at the sides, idk what they're called. The side barricades, I guess? how do I find those seats? I'm going through 2 different apps to secure and get whichever is cheaper. I want to wait a little to see if tickets get cheaper bc I know they always do but its BTS so I won't buy it the same day like I usually do for other artists. How do I figure out the tickets for side barricades where members come through? any help is appreciated!

Job Portal is HELL.

I worked at Starbucks for nearly 2 years 2 years ago and I want to reapply again. Absolutely nothing have changed with the job portal. you cannot search for specific stores and are lucky enough to get the actual stores for the zip code you typed in. I've been searching for a specific store for 2 HOURS. What on earth is the portal useful for. I don't see anyone else talking about this either... am I the only one??

How do I prove identity theft?

Hi. I got my identity stolen. The last time I worked was September 2024. I am on EBT snap and cash while currently looking for a job. I have a 9 month old (I have a support system so no, she’s not starving or anything of that sort) but I need the EBT cash active in order to get a daycare voucher so I can really start applying to as much jobs as possible, I’ve just been doing it slowly since I don’t actually have anyone to babysit the whole day.

I was sent a letter from a department of the EBT cash (I think?) stating that my information was stolen and someone took a $12K paycheck from me from the last quarter of 2025 so that’s why my EBT was cut. I’m getting a little of snap while this is being resolved. However, in order to get my full due, I need to send in a police report to prove the identity theft, but the detectives said they need proof of the identity theft itself, I have since tossed the paper since the paper just said to email a specific person. I have that email and emailed them my tax document so I assumed I didn’t need the letter. Being on EBT means you get 20 letters every damn week so I’m constantly tearing up papers despite me opting for emails. Now I don’t have any proof and they’re saying they got the information from the department of labor and I need to contact them instead. I had called the DoL and they said they don’t have access to that information. I’ve called 311 who transferred me to insurance claims, the same DOL, and every other department that I was transferred to said the same thing. I called the IRS, FTC and anyone google suggested me to do… Im completely baffled by the gymnastics I have to do for a basic letter. I’ve been calling people yesterday since 8am to 5pm and the same thing today, it’s 4:50pm and I’ve been on the phone since 8am and I’m beyond tired and frustrated how hard it is to get anyone to do anything. What do I need to do since government agents apparently aren’t helpful with transferring me to the right person?

I emailed the same people who sent me the letter again explaining the effort I had to do and still didn’t get anything and if they can just kindly resent it or email me a PDF. I’m out of options. What else do I need to do?

And I’ll openly admit. I’m very sensitive so if you have something rude to say, just move on from this post, you’re not being forced to answer

What's the BEST apartment hack you've learned on this subreddit

Hi guys. Just discovered this subreddit (that's what you call it right? I hope that's the right term) and wanted to know if you guys can drop your best apartment hack you learned here (or anywhere) or something you've been doing yourself. I'm planning on moving to an apartment next year so it'd be great to have a thread dedicated to this. Top 3 is even better. Thanks in advance!

Best checking account for the biggest sign up bonus?

self explanatory. I might close it if I don't like the bank after lol. but I'm broke and was reading through this channel and had no idea people were getting sign up bonuses and then dipping after. you guys are smart lol

if you need further context, I have a chase student account and now they're trying to charge me after the 5 years so I need a new home that's not going to have any interest fee. if you have any suggestions for a good checking account that has good high yield savings and cash back, that'd be great as well

Also I'm aware some accounts have fine prints that don't let you close for a certain amount of time. I'll be okay with that.

In unit washer and dryer or buy my own?

Hi, I was wondering if there were benefits to getting an in unit W/D versus buying my own? I found this:

https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-4-5-cu-ft-he-smart-front-load-washer-and-7-4-cu-ft-electric-dryer-washtower-with-steam-and-built-in-intelligence-graphite-steel/J7G564P4V2/sku/6451030?utm_source=feed&extStoreId=&ref=212&loc=14477200735&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=14477200735&gbraid=0AAAAAD-ORIiDOlDhkktX_z-3ug8M2HHJS&gclid=Cj0KCQjwr4jSBhCSARIsAOX1E-I9W2HLddQ6VuF0YfqT4qwaeadSEX0YOkMyK3dVVnskTfFQ-R67-DAaAkXcEALw_wcB#tabbed-customerreviews

and figured it’d be great to have this instead. I’m looking for an apartment to move into next year and the extra cost per month will maybe not be worth it. it limits my options as well as I was strictly looking for in unit ones. Then I figured it’s best to just buy my own. I’m a single college student with a 9 month old child so I should be more practical about my priorities. My only issue is it’d be harder to gage the space to check if this can fit and on top of that, if I had the option to not have to hook plugs into the bathroom, that’d be better. What are some suggestions? My budget rent per month was 2500 a month in Brooklyn. I can lower that to 2k if I just buy my own W/D. I’m not working yet, but I plan on getting a job this month and will be saving until next year. I HAVE to get out of my parents house as it’s too toxic and not an environment I can thrive in at all so the option to wait and save isn’t much of an option, I have a year to save if I get a job soon so I’m relying on that. Any suggestions? (I get mandated $150 a week from her sperm donor)

I need help choosing a card

First off, I'm sorry to say, but im looking for a DEBIT card, not a credit card. However there seems to be no reddit page for it so I assume it's okay to ask here? I'm just trying to look for a good company that has incredibly high yield savings account, and high yield debit cards with no fee or interests. There's more on my list, but my mind is running a blank right now. I'm using chase student and have to switch before they start to charge me after the 5 years I've been with them. Any help is great. I figured I'd start with a bank that's high yields. doesn't need to have a physical location, but great customer service is needed and a usable app interface. Thank you!

Also I'm also open to credit cards with these options and have great cash backs on them. I hear it's more beneficial to regularly use credit cards instead so I want to look into switching my credit card for a beneficial one so I atleast have an excuse to use it

The BTS OREOS is REALLY pissing me off.

Granted I should've set an alarm but life was hectic and I figured I'd definitely get oreos within the first week... I was going back to sleep at like 6am and then shot up and ran to my phone cuz I realized it's been 2 days.... and it's gone?!?!

I've been an oreo fan for YEARS. I'm talking over 10 years. I did stop buying the past few years cuz I eventually got sick of them, but mainly bc they have ties to Russia and Israel has investments in one of their parent companies. But I was like okay let me get the bts one. I've eaten limited oreos many many times and they're usually in stores way longer than I expect them to be for limited items. I'm talking like 6 months long. So I'm beyond shocked that I now have to rely on EBAY and target resellers just to try some. I just bought 4 target shipped oreos which someone said was resellers which pissed me off cuz its not like target is authenticating them.

Why on earth do I need to call stores and shit when it's not even 5 days?? do they not know that bts can sell any limited shit they buy 2x over?? Genuinely why do so many companies implement the scarcity tactic when they could've made LUCRATIVE sales had they just kept the bts oreo production rolling for a few months.

Anyway, all this to say is I have to rely on resellers for my damn oreos and hope I don't die.
