Just got banned from r/communism because i said AES countries are AES or state capitalist and not communist

Are they all such snowflakes on there. Is that answer not marxist enough for communists. Apparently it wasn't maoist enough. Help me understand. Did i really break from the party line too much.

I have narcissistic trait. How can i be a good person

I relatively recently found out in therapy i have narcissistic tendencies. I always thought of myself as a decently good person. I will help out people as much as i can, will donate money when i have enough, i will happily hear out other people and give advice and support as much as i can. I'm interested in left wing politics, I'm very progressive, accepting and care for the underprivileged. But it turns out all of that is based on my need to perceive myself as a good person, which is a standard i hold myself against. I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia, and one of the voices told me before i knew anything about it that i'm a narcissist who aspires to be a good person, to which my therapist said i must have had some insight beforehand into it. The more i look into myself the more i see that i'm at the end of the day self serving, driven by feelings of superiority about my intelligence, what i thought was empathy but it seems I don't actually have much of it. I went to study psychology to help out people. I genuinely want to be a good person, but i'm not actually sure if i will ever be capable of it.

My life sucks

As the title says. It all started basically because i lonely, depressed, my life was empty with no meaningful social life to speak with. I was going to college but i found it boring and unsatisfying, i worked a boring repetitive dead end job on the weekends. It was at least a bit social since i was a cashier at a sauna, though i sucked at socialising so no friends were made there. My best friend moved away to a bigger city years ago, it's expensive to meet up and a long way, besides he's too busy to even talk on the phone. My cousin moved away as well, and he's too busy with his friends and girlfriends and passions. I got addicted to smoking weed, it was basically the only thing that i was enjoying. I would wake up, go take my classes, go home, play video games and get high in the evening, every single day. I didn't even enjoy the games, it was just something to kill time. I slowly but surely went psychotic, until i had a full blown psychotic break after like half a year of that. Went through hell. Four times I went to the hospital, lost my job, had to take a break from college which i failed anyways since i was too psychotic to take exams much less study. I battled through it all. Went through like 7 meds total, three different diagnoses to end up with schizophrenia diagnosis. Went to therapy. I went to the day ward for three months and finally made some friends. But first one of them turned out to be deeply islamophobic, so i felt like i had no choice but to cut her off, since i found her beliefs too disgusting, other friends from the friend group seem to have taken her side since they don't speak to me and ignored my invitation to meet up. Another friend cut me off since she found me messaging her too overwhelming (i explicitly asked her if it was too much but i was supposed to have guessed). I went through hell to end up just as lonely, with a life debilitating illness, dumber from the meds and being a schizo, doing the same shit i was doing over a year ago except for the only fun part which was getting high. All of this was basically for nothing, there is no reward at the end of this healing journey, there is the same shitty life that led me to this point but worse. Also i'm now fat with the worst physique i've had in a decade. My therapist told me i have a narcissistic trait, which is also great since im not only fucked in psychosis way but also personality wise

Risperidone withdrawal

Im in psych ward and they dropped my dose from 8 mg to 4 mg, since i had some issues with memory and feeling sedated. Its been a week now and feeling more sharp and present has been nice and i haven't got any psychotic symptoms i've been so anxious. Its awful, i keep thinking my friends hate me and want nothing to do with me. Does anyone know how long it takes to go away? How has been your experience with risperidone withdrawals?

What are your experiences with quetiapine

It's the only atypical antipsychotic i haven't tried yet and i'll probably be switching meds soon to try and get rid off my memory problems and some other issues i've had with risperidone. I had it as sleep aid as a teen and it was knocking me out even in small doses and made me very annoyed when waking up but i've heard its somewhat different in higher doses. Was it effective for you? What side effects have you experienced?

Is it good idea to switch meds?

Hi, i have had schizophrenia for about a year now, and i was just offered to go to a psych ward to switch meds. I've tried olanzapine, hasnt worked much, haloperidol but im allergic to it, abilify but it made me to jittery and i'm now on 8 mg risperidone. It has been awful since upping the dose from 3 mg, but the voices would sometimes appear still on lower dose. I kind of regret telling it to my psychiatrist, since i now have awful memory, I can't get an erection and have been generally kind of depressed and a bit rigid, my therapist told me i've lost some naturallity. The only good thing is the voices and delusions are gone which is a massive plus and i haven't gained any weight. I dont know if its worth it to try something else and cant decide, what other meds are even out there? From atypicals i havent tried quetiapnine for psychosis, but i've had it as sleep pills and it knocked me out even on low dose so i'm not sure if i wanna deal with it daily and probably in higher doses. What are your thoughts?
