Can someone help me with my itinerary to the North Rim.

Hi all, Im travelling solo from Australia and will land in Las Vegas.

I want to visit 3 places in the North Rim. 1. Point Imperial (sunrise) 2. Cape Royal 3. Bright Angel Point (sunset)

A) Is it possible to visit all 3 locations in one day if I pick up a car rental Vegas and drive to the North Rim and back to Vegas? OR

B) Stay in a hotel in Vegas for 1 day , get rest after a 13+ hour flight then drive to the North Rim

C) Will I need more than one day to explore these places so just look for accomdation along Grand Canyon highway and not drive back to Las Vegas till my flight

I have no clue about road conditions especially at night and acoomdation on the way to the North Rim so local advice would be great.

Is there any Immersive Films worth watching at the Sphere in August 2026?

Im planning to visit in mid August for the first time and just checked the schedule - All im seeing in the schedule is the Wizzard of Oz (which I dont like or follow) thoughout July, August and September

Then theres the concerts which im not really a fan of country.

Surely they cant have just 1 immersive film running for almost 3 months???? Or am I missing something? Is there repeats of previous popular films?

That Illieum Oddessy looks great and more my type of immersive film but it ends in July.

If you offer to pay for damages to another car and Im at fault- what happens if they refuse it?

Short story- Had a minor incident where I accidently reversed into a van and swiped the door. No dents just scruff marks. His van already had scruff marks from previous incidents. He works at his smash repair business.

We agreed to get our own quotes and settle without insurance involved because we estimated it would be around my excess amount which is $800 and I prefer to use it only if I get into a major accident amd I dont want a major hike in my premiums next year as this will be my first time making an At fault claim.

I did my quotes from 3 smash repairs- all around $800-900 mark to get both fixed.

His quotes at his smash repair was a whopping 4.5k.

When I offered to take it to one of my smash repairs to get it fixed-he refused and wouldnt be bothered to get a second quote.

For some reason hes really pushing me to use insurance-does this benefit his business?

He actually offered to fix dents /scatches on my car that had nothing to do with this incident if I claim insurance and take it to his smash repair. I said no.

Will I be able to ask his insurer when they contact me if I can settle privately and pay for the damages at my Smash repairs as Im aware you can withdraw an insurance claim while being processed

What are my options? Or is there no other choice but to use my insurance. I really dont want to use it as the damages are minor

Can an insurance claim be voided/rejected if its found to tamper with thier odometer?

Long story short....I accidently reversed back into a car in a car park. Small dents , I claimed responsibility.

We both agreed to handle this without insurers and get a quote because the damage was minor.

He works in smash repair/panel so he got his quotes from there and offered to fix scatches dents on my car that had nothing to with the incident IF I CLAIM insutamce and take it to his workshop.

His quotes was $3000 more, than my quotes and he doesnt want to get another quote and said just claim through your insurance.

I went to retrieve his vehicle details for my insurer off the goverment website where you just put in the plate numbers and his odometer reading say:

2024: 390,463 km

2025: 392, 100 km

2026: 172, 556 km

Is this worth reporting to his insurer when they contact me? Or does it make no differeme since Im at fault?
