Hi all, Im visiting NYC in a weeks time.

First timer and overwhelmed at the moment. Ill be staying in Chelsea area.

Should I allocate one day for one part of the city so I dont have to travel far distances? Im thinking about using a citi bike to get around but heard it can be expensive

Weather will also determine where Ill go because Im hoping to catch a sunset or sunrise somewhere scenic overlooking the Manhattan Skyline

Example

Day 1 Hudoson Yards area /911

Day 2 Midtown area

Day 3 Brooklyn coastal area etc

Day 4 Central Park

Any suggestions how to approach this?

What steps do I need to do actually immerse myself in that moment? Specifically if want to

Visit a place or somewhere where you want to be alone to try clear your head.

I am somewhat an introvert, I wouldnt say Im comfortable in my own skin (always struggled since I was a kid). NeveR really had a close group of friends and single in my late 30s

Im an active outdoor person but I have this issue of thinking ahead like I have to finish this hike or circut run or cycle or workout in order for me to relax.

And if Im out alone somewhere at a park and see people around me that feeling of aniexty comes back and if Im alone in nature isolated- I cant help but think ahead like 'oh I need to do this at work tmorrow, or remember to pay this bill or I need to get that workout out of the way' when I get hone

Its like my brain cant switch off and manipulates me to worry what the future holds. Ive visited nice places but cant barely remember it because I wasnt present in that moment

I feel like time flys as adults but time slows down once you become more present in the moment making moments more meaningful and memorable and fufilling- this is what I want to achieve

Any tips, routines when I get outdoors would be appreciated

In regards to fire risk

I was planning to visit from August 20 onwards (driving from Vegas) but just seen these wild fires pop up and I dont want to book accomdation in places like Jacob Lake if there a risk of firedanger or driving on the way there.

What is the fire conditions like towards the end of August? Do wild fires get worse from now on or does it die down .

Would like some local knowledge of wild fires patterns please

Can anyone tell me if there is a drop in quality when you upload your photos as either story, corousels or reels? Or were there updates to address this.?

I mostly post carousel but if it gets heavily compressed then I might consider an iphone insteafld

Hi all, Im travelling solo from Australia and will land in Las Vegas.

I want to visit 3 places in the North Rim. 1. Point Imperial (sunrise) 2. Cape Royal 3. Bright Angel Point (sunset)

A) Is it possible to visit all 3 locations in one day if I pick up a car rental Vegas and drive to the North Rim and back to Vegas? OR

B) Stay in a hotel in Vegas for 1 day , get rest after a 13+ hour flight then drive to the North Rim

C) Will I need more than one day to explore these places so just look for accomdation along Grand Canyon highway and not drive back to Las Vegas till my flight

I have no clue about road conditions especially at night and acoomdation on the way to the North Rim so local advice would be great.

Im planning to visit in mid August for the first time and just checked the schedule - All im seeing in the schedule is the Wizzard of Oz (which I dont like or follow) thoughout July, August and September

Then theres the concerts which im not really a fan of country.

Surely they cant have just 1 immersive film running for almost 3 months???? Or am I missing something? Is there repeats of previous popular films?

That Illieum Oddessy looks great and more my type of immersive film but it ends in July.

Long story short....I accidently reversed back into a car in a car park. Small dents , I claimed responsibility.

We both agreed to handle this without insurers and get a quote because the damage was minor.

He works in smash repair/panel so he got his quotes from there and offered to fix scatches dents on my car that had nothing to with the incident IF I CLAIM insutamce and take it to his workshop.

His quotes was $3000 more, than my quotes and he doesnt want to get another quote and said just claim through your insurance.

I went to retrieve his vehicle details for my insurer off the goverment website where you just put in the plate numbers and his odometer reading say:

Is this worth reporting to his insurer when they contact me? Or does it make no differeme since Im at fault?
