What do British people call the living room?

The room with a sofa where you sit and watch tv and chat with people. What do you call it? And does it vary by region of the UK? I’ve seen lounge and reception room. Which is it?

Also, do you say couch? Or sofa? Or something else?

I need this info for fanfic writing purposes of UK tv show.

Thank you!!

ETA okay now I feel dumb. Apparently most British people just say living room like Americans, and couch isn’t unheard of. Thanks all

Landlord Insurance when using Guaranteed Rent by Northwood

I recently went over to Northwood after my tenants gave notice and I chose the full Guaranteed Rent service, where effectively, sub-letting takes place and Northwood are the tenant. When I advised my Landlord insurance provider they said there is now a big difference and the cost for 12 months would shoot up from £162 when I was self-managing, to £502!

Is this normal? It seems insane it now costs more when there is a business involved. Surely the risk would come down? Has anyone got experience with this and what provider do you use?

I built my first execution chamber!

Do you guys and girls do anything similar? I tried for a viewing gallery but with separation. This is as close as I can manage.
