Dutch language course C1/C2

Hello, I live here for 11 years, I work in Dutch. When people hear me speak, they never assume im not dutch, or so much as feel it, accent-wise. However, I speak very techincal and academic dutch. Not the day-to-day slang. My sentences are gramatically correct but will make a person scratch tehir head 'why is a Dutch-sounding person saying something like that'. Oh and after 11 years I still dont know how to say basic things like: that place is 5 minutes far. 5 minuten ver? verweg? ver van hier weg?

Conclusion: im looking to sharpen my colloquial Dutch, as I am suffering immensely from it at work. I am willing to try out courses.

Oven sizes...

Ive always wondered why are ovens so tall. Most people use an oven for pizzas, cakes, breads, whole chickens, etc. Very seldom is it used for turkey, as in the Netherlnads i wouldnt even know where u could buy a whole turkey.

Im looking for a compact oven for my kitchen, not a tabletop one, an actual high-watt oven, but without the tall height. Has anyone seen any products?

Parking app

Which app do you guys use for paying for parking, and seeing parking options? Ive tried ANWB, easypark, flitsmeister, and one more. Some add fees that I think is horrendous. These apps sometimes also give different parking costs, which is very weird as they should all have the same parking prices (excluding added fees).

Working as bike courier

Hello guys,

In an effort to lose weight, I came up with the idea to work a few shifts in the weekend as bike delivery. However, I couldnt find a vacancy through UberEats, Thuisbezorgd, or Flink. They didnt reply at all. Same with PostNL.

What do you guys recommend

Amba recipe

Dear friends, last month I visited Erbil, and i got to taste the best sauce in the world, Amba. Ive tried remaking it, but sadly online recipes seem to vary a lot with one another. The best Amba ive had was the one from Iskan st right when u enter, the falafel place at the left. He makes a huge jug of it. Also a place that makes gus made it really well but i forgot his name. Any tips, or authentic recipe? Anyone who can ask the shop there how they make if u get a chance to be tehre?
