Should i buy a Contax T3 or stay with C-Biogon 2,8/35?

I have a chance to buy a Contax T3 for aproximate 1600.- Dollars with minor defect (lens shield dosent close tight). I love this camera and made some of my best photos with it when i had it 15 years ago… currently i own a Zeiss Ikon with C-Biogon 2,8/35, a geat lens but i want to upgrade it to the Distagon 1,4/35 ZM.
I just fear the T3 to break unrepairabel but the Kit of The Zeiss Ikon with Distagon 1,4/35 ZM for low light/portrait and the T3 for everyday is really tempting! Really dont know what to do

T3 Sonnar 2,8/35 vs C-Biogon 2,8/35 ZM

Hello everybody! I have a chance to buy a Contax T3 for 1200.-USD. I love that camera but they can stop working… for a while now i am using the Zeiss Ikon with C-Biogon 2,8/35 T* ZM. I am wondering if anybody made a comparision between the Sonnar in the T3 and the C-Biogon ZM?
Would you keep the Zeiss Ikon or exchange it for the T3?
I am really drawn to the small size of the T3 but dont want to compromise in Image Quality

Dreams

For months i am dreaming about owning/using a Leica M-A with Leicavit and Noctilux-M 1:1,2/35 ASPH. I feel really sad that i probely will never have this setup because i cant afford it as i am cronic schizophrenic and because of this never developed financial independence.
But please, link reviews from this lens here, especially if they show photos taken analog. Digital is also ok. I am feeling as i already saw everthing there is about this lens in the internet but may be i missed something and i love to look at photos taken with this lens…

What do you guys use? For years i used just lens hood. This year i started to use just a UV Filter…

For years i just used a lenshood and put the lens cap on when i wasent using the camera. This year i started to use only UV Filter without lens hood, but i started noticing some artifacts, more flare in my photos… i am thinking of going back to use lenshoods againe without filter and the lens cap for when not in use, but i am resistating as hoods make the cameras bigger. May be i use nothing for when i am photographing and then lens caps to protect…

What and how do you guys use your lenses?
