I fell in love with this fella after I saw a video of them online. But now that I own them myself… wow they are huge!
I can’t really take them with me when I go places because of their size- making it hard to bond with them. I like their size and their fur wasn’t my thing at first (it’s sort of scratchy) but I do kind of like it now.

I want to name them after a Baldurs Gate 3 character but I’m not sure who yet, maybe I’ll name them after my Tav, a tiefling rogue named Vaelys :).

I had the most delicious chicken wrap today, and got a really cute plushie at a thrift store :)! They’re in the wash right now but I can’t wait to cuddle them.

For context, I am in Europe.

I am a plushie collector, and I bought a plush and a jacket off of Vinted, went to pick them up, sent my dad inside and he comes out with 3 packages. My mom thought one of them might be a book she ordered off of Vinted and maybe was delivered early.

Now this wasn’t odd because:
One package was in the shape of a plush
One package was a big box with a jacket inside
And the other package was quite flat.

So I opened the plush package first… only to reveal a plush I didn’t order. At first I thought I got scammed or sent the wrong plush (happened before). Then I opened the box with the jacket and lastly the mystery package….
It had the plush that I DID order inside!

So uh. Now I have two plushies, one that I didn’t order.

So I went back to the pick up spot and the lady at the counter explained that she already scanned the package and now she can’t see any information about the package. She didn’t offer to take it back.

What confuses me more is that the pickup spot only takes 2 delivery services, Mondial and Vinted Go, and this package is a GLS package.

On top of it all, I am going on vacation right now, like literally right now so I can’t really do anything about it at the moment.

Is there anything I can do? There isn’t much info on the label :(

I got this guy plus his cheetah boyfriend at a flea market together for €2, I usually don’t collect plushies that aren’t canines or dragons but these guys are SO floppy and have so many beans in them they’re so perfect for holding, I couldn’t pass them up!

However, little tiger bud here lost all his stripes! So I gave him and his boyfriend a wash and drew on his new stripes!! I hope he likes them :)

I’m over the moon for this lil’ (big, actually) guy! He’s quite firm, but huggable and his front legs are poseable as well as his front and back paws! I love his chonky face so much!

I’m looking for more unique names, gender doesn’t matter!, I totally see him running some kind of tea shop, so maybe something tea-themed or maybe food themed :) (I’m not looking for Japanese names specifically)

(preferably no names commonly given to humans such as uhh Reginald or Bob, no offense to any Reginalds or Bobs!!!)

I’ve had this plushie for quite a long time now, but lately I’ve found more comfort in carrying them around because they’re so perfectly soft.

Any name suggestions :)? I don’t like the name Milo for them before you suggest just giving them the name Milo. I’m thinking food themed names… (tbh I’m kinda thinking about Rye like Rye bread!)

Brand: They’re a retired Jellycat Milo Shiba Inu.

It fits perfectly and the colour an almost perfect match with her collar! I’m super excited for the other things I got second hand to also come in! (Spoilers… I got some pins and boots :) )

+ There are some newer ones in there because I had a short period where I got back into Schleich, but their recent quality has disappointed me so I don’t have interest in collecting (new) ones anymore.

My girlfriend stayed for the night and we went for a walk with my (real) dog today and I took Magpie with us too! It started to rain so I couldn’t get many pictures.

But! I got some gear on Vinted including dog shoes, and I’m excited for them to arrive so that I can photograph Magpie when it’s rainy for example!

Hi all! I haven’t posted any ESSA content in a bit, which is because I was busy with my exams….

And I passed them first try!!!!!!! Which means I graduated high school and am off to college/uni next school year. (I’m from the NL and will be off to a HBO study, which is kind of like college/uni mixed I think.)

Anyway, this is my newest ESSA addition, Magpie or Maggie! (In Dutch her name is Ekster). I customised her myself, inspired by ticked markings on border collies and I think she looks really good!!!

I’ve ordered some second hand gear on Vinted for her. All the gear I get is either homemade or bought second hand at flea markets or via Vinted :)

I am autistic and my special interest are puffins. They bring me so much joy and they are my favourite animals! And before you comment, make sure to read my post here explaining my thought proces.

❤️‼️Please be nice down below, as I said in the picture I do like it, but I see way more potential in the plush.

To be clear; I love any and all puffin plushies but I can’t lie I was immensely disappointed with the fact the new build a bear Puffin is missing the signature puffin mascara. I know it doesn’t look much like a penguin either but I thought it was one until I saw it listed as a puffin! I must give them credit though! The front face is very puffin shaped!!

So if it’s not clear here’s what I would change:

> Larger beak.. it makes it instantly recognisable as a puffin because they have long beaks.
> orange and white legs, as puffins legs are orange and end with white feathers connecting to their white bellies.
> They are missing the dark markings under their beaks, which surprisingly the old build a bear did have but then in blue. I made this one purple to match the eye make up.
> ADD THE PUFFIN MASCARA!!! I’m actually so sad it’s not there if that isn’t clear…😭
> Make the rosettes larger (the yellow things on their face) and stand out more.

+ I added a more “cartoony” eye version because I know some people don’t like plain black eyes :)

Will I be getting one? Maybe, yes, I’m thinking about customizing it to look more like my version x) starting with removing those eyebrows.

Tomorrow it’s my mom’s birthday so I’m looking forward to it. Today I spent time with my girlfriend and it was very fun.

I have to study in a bit and I’m not looking forward to it, hopefully Eriden and my other plush can motivate me a little :(

More info for fun; as a kid I LOVED build a bear after going once while on vacation in Canada. Wolves are my favourite animal and I couldn’t find this guy anywhere but my dad did and got him for me!
(BaB isn’t in my country so finding specific ones is hard because I’m unable to buy them new or via EBay because of import taxes. :”(

I love him so much, he even has perfect little paw pads. He is my first and probably only Kösen plush I’ll ever get because of their steep price. He is a (late) gift from my grandmother for my birthday back in march, she paid half and I paid half :). I am so happy, he looks perfect!!!!

For name suggestions I’d love *unique* nature and fantasy names… I do like names such as “fern” and “birch” but I already have some plush named that :”)🌿🌱
