Hear me out: True Potential Trio!

The more i think, the more i get the conclusion that Miri Sugo would suit way more the "part 2 trio" than Yoshida, he is just a glorified captor who fujimoto only use as a cheap plot device when he needed, but miri? He is for one: a real student like denji and asa; he is a weapon human with a devil inside which could from the beginning show us how they´re living now: as just weapons being use by other ones, in this case miri would be just as a captive for PS as denji and worse - be using to observe and contenting the one who freed him, so not we could just get a tip that really reze is just being captive for the russians but also truly develop miri as a character, he truly would have motives to befriend and even simpatizes with denji other than whatever death devil´s gang was trying to force with denji, he could even have a true background like idk someone important like family being captive which could give more layers on his forced work as PS, he doesn´t want to do it and takes opportunity in trying to be denji´s friend but like in reze´s case he´s only fooling himself and that will only lead to tragedy and inevitably he will become a switch, but alas it would have much more ground to estabilish a true complicated friendship with denji along part 2 that would really makes sense to denji snap when he died. It also makes sense for the weapon humans are just weapons in the end, no matter how they fight they always are gonna be pawns, the switch scene could be like a real heart to heart on how miri has nothing and like denji he´s just clanged on empty rewards, leading to a tragic fight that really makes denji snap out.

Malevolent Asa and Unsettle Yoru

This is one of my experimentations i´m doing for my upcoming AU edit Reverse Role. Idk who made the original art because it seems to be reposted both in pixiv and twitter.

For no reason at all here´s my top 5 CSM ships that i dearly cherish. (maybe tomorrow i shall post the top 5 that i hate) Couples of 2 only to make it simple and because i believe in monogamy supremacy but i really respect polyamory and all other forms of love ;)

5 - MakixBarem
4 - RezexDen
3 - YoruxDen
2 - AkixMeno
1 - AsaxDen

A bit controversial, perhaps;
I´m lazy to explain why but if you ask me i shall answer :)

Ps: come to think maybe i should do a poligamy top 5 ship and CSM x other media top 5 in the future.

Now for my Anime grid.

The devil is a part timer first season is truly peak fiction specially in how well it deconstructs the isekai gender even before it was a thing, but then despite have some high ups later on that, it really falls off like a rock on a top of the mountain specially in the anime with such a drop in quality.

Akudama drive is so criminally unappreciated and unknown it makes me sad. Original high quality anime that has a masterpiece of storytelling with an amazing ending.

I really have a hard time choosing since there´s so many animes worth mention in each grid but in the end i think until chainsaw man gets more seasons gintama will have to be my favorite because it´s the only anime i watched that have consistent 200 episodes that are perfect, also it is the best adaptation since it really surpass the manga in really creative ways.

Guys, i came to a realization!

(Since i found this sub really confy for me to confess my feelings, i gonna posted here and maybe okbuddyyoru if i feel like it)

So hummmm, in advance - i beg your pardons if this text comes as too long, maybe difficult in some parts because english is not my main language but i'm really feeling pretty lucidy right now because i finally got the answer.

Ever since Chainsaw Man ended i've being feeling frustrated, i didn't realize back then that Chainsaw Man wss not just a manga, it was the only weekly manga that i didn't lose interest not for a second, it became part of my life. Chainsaw Man means everything to me. Even now i can't stop thinking about that it will never returns, my beloved characters and their arcs unresolved, that wich i've come to be so invested that i can assure you that even tho they are fictional they mean more to me than real people ever did, but they are still characters and i value good narrative, writting and cohesion just as likeness and identification with them.

With time i came to realize this is because i'm really a lonely person that in trying to just cope and accept my harsh reality i became detach, or at least trying to be completely detach so i wouldn't get hurt.

So seeing Asa, Denji even Yoru and the other horsemen trying to connect in their flawed ways really resonate within me in a deeper emotional level that i only realize it was that deep after ending.

Furthermore particularly this denji from the reboot is almost like seeing a reflection of myself: a broken man who is just trying to live somehow, yerning, dreaming but never in there. And i understand why, i really do understand why pochita done it but it also such a waste because there was a narrative in there you know, and even contradicts a lots of things and just push for a more business decision ending (alongside what it seems to a burn out) where the author recognizes that the public don't have maturity or even literacy to deal with this so he sacrifice himself for a more apropriate state of things.

I really get it that even if i had the things i want, being in chainsawman plot or in my life i know i wouldn't be happy.

And then i see now that maybe he is right, i've seeing through out until now that many people seems to not wanting to really understand the characters or the story, they seen to blantly ignore everything what it's estabilish just because it doesn't align with their views on things that chainsaw man was never really about. Worst is that many people in this fandom really doesn't seem to love chainsawman either because they don't or wanna comprehend or just can't see something beyond their agenda,

like imo this is a story that got kinda butchered and mislead because fujimoto cared more about the themes than develop a narrative and refuse to do a full route villain (i mean given how much people pin denji as a rapist imagine if he had snap out after aging, really spiting on seigi, even if had pay off like a bad world end ending deserved people would just refuse to see as a deterioration story, much so because they really treat the characters like they are function Real Life beings when they aren't) or make the main characters grow which wouldn't align with his main goal. It refuses the natural progression and pay off.

Maybe i'm not the exception but i really love this universe and don't wanna see it's end, even if it's just Denji living a boring life just going to eat somewhere i still wanna see where this is going, or at least even if i feel myself with fan content i still want more. Like i said i'm aware that i'm just proving the point of the themes but the themes doesn't seem to make a pay off as they butchered the narrative.

Which is why i keeping making edits and even a alternate ending, but i've being really strugling with the writting, that is until now...

I come to realize that i comprehend what i get from the story, that i finally accept it, the true feelings that I interpreted, mostly important is what I want to converge in these alternate universes that i'm making, which was why i was strugling so much. But now ironically i've a theme.

I don't wanna sound pretencious (even tho i probably may have sound too arrogant writting this, sorry) or make this longer than it already is with an essay on the characters so i just wanna say this:

Yoru, Asa, Denji are really well written, they're peak fiction with deeps upon deeps on layers and complexity in both good and bad, not the only ones but really the most misunderstood characters. They don't deserve the hate or slander or mischaracterization based on both assumptions and misinterpretations as they got!

And i do think they deserve a better conclusion with more in depth characterization, the main goal/synopis works like this:

"Both the humans and devils are confronted, all flaws and feelings are exposed in a climatic heart to heart before the end! Finally, when Yoru aroses as the true great king of terror, Asa and Denji risk it all in desperation. Perishing or Succeeding, will they achieve their dreams?"

Not exactly fuji views but imo would be a more apropriate ending once i put all in the video, i already done some scenes which anyone interested can see on my profile, but i will posted on r/asamitaka since i got permission (because it used ai voices and some images so i reached the mods for aproval) alongside my AU reverse role that should come soon. (This one is full edit manga panels so i'll posted in more places)

Anyhow this has became a true vent, but i'm glad i did, thanks if you read so far here, sorry if ofended someone (it wasn't my intention), in short i come to accept the ending, truly this time and funny enough because of the fandom, still think that is cowardly rushed frustrated when it could being way better but still a ending. Maybe the one we deserved.

Could this Tite Kubo (Bleach's Author) statement explain why Fujimoto struggles with Part 2?

I mean there is a clear allegory with the whole chainsaw man fandom and the church/fans, it's also the arc where you can see he starts to lose interest in develop a cohersive, well tied story that makes part 1 and beggining of part 2 so good as it was...

I think the reset would work a tons better if it follows the cyclical universe theory.

Have you heard about the cyclical universe theory? It´s has some variations but the general idea is that the universe follows infinite, or indefinite, self-sustaining cycles, each beginning with a Big Bang and ending with a Big Crunch that latter create another big bang and the cycle continues, the new universe is reformed similar to it´s predecessor, some things are different others the same and others in the middle but it always begins and ends the same way with a collapse.

And what happens in the end of Chainsaw Man: Collapse via deathless world, basically if the end was denji and asa losing but instead of a reset it was just a final exchange with their other entities (Pochita and Yoru), a closure with a tragic ending where everyone is an eternal scape of suffering, the themes that carry would remain (bad choices in impossible situations leading to doom) and at the same time it would lead the world pochita was telling denji to create in 219.

In the Age devil arc we see that with unlimited time people became trees, the same would have happened in the deathless world, giving enough years with humanity being in scrambles and everyone incapable of dying the would become one with earth and eventually like in the book of apocalypse once humanity starved and nothing of them where left, the concept of death would have return, not as the end but what it comes after: with humans being depraved of life, being no better than rocks that just exist, all fears would be gone and devils would cease to exist, recreating death and then collapse because humans don´t fear or feel nothing, a Big Crunch following by a Big Bang and a new cycle similar but different from the previous one.

It wouldn´t be so unlike fujimoto because he already did that on fire punch, all that it´s presented in the last chapter would make much more sense without sacrificing the development, because if part 2 is about the end and regression but still needs a ending with a more good feeling solution what better way then give such drastic yet fitting consequences and the recreated the universe as like life it´s all a cycle?

The themes and logic would still be there, the consequences would be there, conclusions would be there, pochita´s sacrifice would be there because he could just continue to fighting with denji but instead he chooses to redeem himself by being with denji until the end, the same with yoru and asa, they would have closure, would be sad but also wholesome that these humans and devils despite all the bad choices and punishment life has given to them where able to understand each other, specially Yoru who scorned her sister but at the same time wants to understand Asa.

Then in the new cycle like the original idea things could work out better, the same chapter, same logic of things are different yet the same and the feelings remain would have applied in a bittersweet ending, when we see pochita as denji´s heart again we would ask ourselves if he is there because by choosing to die with denji he remained as his heart at least until the concept of chainsaw man is brought back, but if denji´s change the concept, pochita would just remain as his heart only, with both getting their dreams, basically the same ending but with more logical conclusion.

One could argue this already happen, but thing is we didn´t get any explanation, pochita just eats himself and it´s up to own interpretation/headcanon how this worked, actually this is a problem with the end overall: everything is so much to interpretation that it just feels lack of will to develop more the story, sacrificing the narrative for the themes.
