DI Frost - He’s as stubborn as a mule and someone who won’t back down from his hunches, it also helps that he’s an actual detective. It could take plenty of shouting matches but he will get his man eventually.

Isa Drennan - She’s not a detective but she is the next best thing, a gossip. When there’s a story worth telling she gets to the bottom of it, so I reckon in one day she would have everyone’s alibis figured out and have broken the Traitors’ will.

Father Doogal - He doesn’t have the intelligence or the tenacity as the first two, but what does he have? Stubbornness. He will go around just asking everyone “Are you sure you’re not a Traitor” all day everyday until someone eventually snaps.

Alison Hammond (the actual person) - Who wants to be known as the sad Traitor prick that killed Alison?

A character that belongs to a specific flavor / trope of characters which mostly has a bad rap, but they were written so exceptionally they rose above it.

Perrito (Puss in Boots the Last Wish)

He’s the fuzzball comic relief with big shiny eyes that is annoyingly optimistic about their chances. He could’ve been a drag on the movie as the tacked on comic relief made to be cute and do nothing else. But instead his unflinching honesty about how he sees life ends up making him the perfect foil for Puss’ hidden terror about his mortality and he gets him to understand he doesn’t need more time to live a life he’s proud of.

“You know, I've only ever had one life. But sharing it with you and Kitty made it really special. Maybe, one life is enough?”

Rocky (Project Hail Mary)

Again he’s a small creature who serves as the protagonist’s pseudo sidekick and he speaks in broken English and misunderstands basic human sayings. He could’ve been the klutz alien comically unaware of Earth culture and is funny because they’re stupid. But they went in the exact opposite route. Rocky is an extremely intelligent character that gets treated like Grace’s equal and without their teamwork both of their worlds would have died. But what really makes him special is the fact he’s written with the decency of a human. He has his own life outside of the mission worth protecting and he’s haunted by how he failed his fellow scientists. He’s willing to make the sacrifice play for Grace and in the end he works out a way to allow the two to live peacefully together.

“You have a mate. How long have you been together?”

“186.3 years.”

“You’ve been together a long time.”

“It’s not enough.”

All Might (My Hero Academia)

He’s his universe’s answer to Superman. He is the paradigm of heroism that absolutely everyone, villains included, respects. He could have became this bland one-note moral compass that can fix any problem he’s faced with. But he works because… that’s exactly who he is. He will never stop doing the right thing and will always stay in the fight, even if it will come back to bite him one day. Because he knows he can’t he All Might forever. One day there will come a time when he doesn’t have the strength anymore and the forces of evil will rise to make the most of the power vacuum. And that does scare him more than any single villain. He knows the burden he has put on himself physically and psychologically, and he knows one day he can’t handle it anymore. So how does he make sure the world can handle without him? By understanding part of your legacy is what you give the next generation. He trusts the new generation to carry the flame together and not be like him, but to be something greater. All Might works because he’s someone who sees the best in everyone and will guide any good soul to become the best version of themselves, and as long as he has fight left in him he will be there in the heart of battle with a smile on his face.

“It’s fine now. Why? Because I am here.”

Avengers: Age of Ultron - Marvel wanted the whole sequence at Clint’s farm to be cut because they thought it was too uneventful for audiences to care about. The director insisted it stay because it gave new insight into all of the protagonists. He won and the scene stayed.

Beetlejuice - Tim Burton was ready to cut the dinner party possession sequence because he thought it simply wasn’t funny and it would’ve been embarrassing to include. Test audiences instead told him it was the single funniest scene in the movie so he trusted their word.

The Nutty Professor - The studio wanted the family dinner scene to be cut because according to them it was too long and didn’t add much to the overarching story. But again, they changed their minds after test audiences called it the standout scene in the whole movie.

Bojack Horseman (Free Churro) - Bojack tells a story about how his mother died in hospital and her last words were “I see you”, and he spends a lot of time pondering what he meant. Then it clicks to him she meant to say I-C-U, as in the Intensive Care Unit. Her last words were not towards him.

Spider-Man Brand New Day - >!Throughout the movie Sadie Sink’s character is looking for a mystery item called ‘V-Max’ which has something to do with her sister. But after being captured by Damage Control and locked in a testing facility she looks up and sees the ventilation is labelled V-Max with the sticker half ripped off. The V-Max message her sister sent her was the last image she ever saw, and she died in the same room Sadie was currently locked in.!<

I have been on a tear watching FNAF 4 theories, and the one thing I keep returning to is Scott Cawthon’s Steam post where he said the game is not filled with random details. So I have tried to look at the game and specifically look for any details Scott added that are small enough they could’ve flown under the radar, but is something he still took time to add.

In the minigame where you can find the TV Easter Egg people have already dissected the 1983 date, but there’s something that sticks out to me more. Look at the character backgrounds: solid colors for all, except for Chica who is white and green. It also makes it look like she’s outside. If Scott chose to add this detail onto only Chica and intentionally give himself more work, there must be a reason he chose to do this. But what is it? It’s a pattern he establishes and immediately breaks for no clear reason. I don’t think this actually means much, but if I throw it out into the universe maybe it can be a detail someone else can interpret into something more exciting than me.

The Chameleon - Kung Fu Panda 4

She wants to steal the skill of every kung fu master in history because she was rejected from training in academies because she was too small. This is despite the fact we’ve seen Praying Mantises, Snakes and even Chickens become highly skilled fighters.

Russ Cargill - The Simpsons Movie

Springfield is the most pollutive city in America, so his plan is to permanently quarantine the area from the rest of the world. When that fails his nuclear option (no pun intended) is to bomb the city with an explosive. His plan to curb pollution is to bomb a city with an active nuclear power plant.

Evelyn Deavor - Incredibles 2

I’ve talked about her to death so I’ll make this quick. She wants to make superheroes illegal, however they were already illegal when her plan begins so she was working on a plan to make them doubly illegal I guess. If she genuinely did nothing all movie she would’ve got exactly what she asked for.

Adam Smasher (Cyberpunk 2077)

If Arasaka needs a situation handled properly, Smasher is sent as a final resort to flatten any problems they have. However, he’s also liable to going off script and ignoring instructions for the sake of a more exciting battle.

Conquest (Invincible)

When a planet doesn’t comply to assimilation into the Viltrum Empire, Conquest is sent to maul them into submission by killing and destroying anyone who denies them.

Some fights blew up planets, some destroyed galaxies, some shattered reality itself. But Scooby’s Zobrinsky Triangle onto Courage was so strong it broke the in-universe battle simulator and began harming Wiz and Boomstick. That is the equivalent of a line of code breaking out of your computer and slapping you in the face. The single most powerful moment in DB history was performed by Scooby Doo.
