Nameless spends most of his adventures in the Gothic trilogy searching for ancient artifacts left behind by legendary figures and restoring their power, but does he leave any new artifacts of his own by the end of G3?
In 1000 years is there an artifact left somewhere in some ancient ruin that fans could point to and say "oh wow that the X artifact that we made to defeat Y!" Maybe the Ulu-Mulu? But even that is something that some orcs already made several of.
Everybody stand back! Wait, what were we doing again?
MFs when they say they "want to break out of here just as much as you do"
That's a carcass Gorn, it's not going to spontaneously break the barrier!
When you realize the Lady Summoner is a sand-blasted grease monkey
Bet on how we're going to die
o And then I fell off a cliff
o Killed by a normal enemy
o Destroyed in the last 5 minutes before the end of the game
Nameless in Remake demonstrating superhuman grace and form
"Yay, the remake added an official permadeath mode!" Our ass on a permadeath savegame:
A new detail in Gothic Remake that I love that is both a graphical and gameplay addition
Most people probably don't like it, but when your melee weapon collides with world geometry, your attack actually collides with the environment and your weapon gets bounced back and you get a small "stun". This is rare afaik, probably because it's annoying for most players, but I actually like it. A classic game that had that feature was Silent Hill 2 from the same era as Gothic (but OG Gothic didn't have this). I know most people find such features annoying but I actually find them interesting, it forces you to take the environment into account in small spaces, ok I'll attack from the left because I will hit the door if I attack on the right, ok I will sweep because the ceiling is too low, etc.
Why is this motherfucker so difficult
There must be a trick to it, I need to figure it out for the hardcore mode because I kept getting my ass handed to me until I reloaded enough times and got lucky.
I appreciate how the game from Alkemia is called Gothic Remake rather than just Gothic
We've had a slew of countless remakes and remasters for far more popular franchises than Gothic in the last 15 years, that were just called like the original game while the publishers said "this isn't replacing your OG game, it exists alongside it" while giving all their efforts to make the OG game disappear. As of right now, if I type "Gothic 1" into Steam the OG comes up before the remake in the search bar.
Gotta love that cozy feeling in PB games when you finally see your own faction's base over the hill, after you burned all your heals, mana and ammo.
"To be honest I never really cared about them, innocent or otherwise"
youtube.comI hate my mom and I can't wait for her to fucking die
My mom ruins everything ever since I was a little kid, I'm 35 now so I'm tired. My dad couldn't stand her and made a new family decades ago, I can't blame him (thanks for leaving me with a narcissist mom but w/e) but that means I have to deal with her bipolar ass because mom is mom, but she's genuinely evil in the way she finds options to insult you and make you feel as bad as humanly possible while being a parasite. I can't wait for her to finally die but I KNOW I will die before her, because of the stress she causes me.
I'll play this game on one condition.
Spare me the rest of his nonsense.
