Finally getting my own lil twist on the Blood Maws down , really liking how it’s coming together

I was curious , my brother and a buddies of mine are looking for anyone who’s super chill and plays Warhammer. Were located in Boise. We’re trying to get a big group together who plays every Sunday ( we do ) and would like some more consistent players to play with. We’re super laid back w welcoming house rules, casual playing , and fun vibes. Anyone is welcome , we currently have Aeldar , Emporers Children , Necrons , T Sons , Space wolves , and Blood angels to name a few with some other factions from my buddies. And more in the making.

As I’m getting into more competitive and competent gameplay with the space wolves , what dispositions do we truly excel at and what ones truly are hard to work around ? I know it’s mostly unit based but I was just curious.

As well , I’m trying to run anything besides PTF as a disposition , how would you guys play a priority assets or or disruption army for space wolves. I have a general army for both just don’t know if I’m truly building them the right way.

Since I’m in the mood for discussion I’m curious. What was truly the reason of calling to the Space Wolves and Russ for you? I’m curious what really drew in this big crowd of people together and what we all have in common.

IMO , I LOVE the Viking / wolf aspect , reverting back to that age of time while running around in power armor and plasma weapons was just so cool. That and the rituals you’re completing on TT just was so neat. Completing a rite while doing primary and secondaries seemed so cool. And finally the Wolf Guard HT/Termis and Thunderwolves. Riding around of a giant jacked wolf or having a genetically modified pack of wolfed supporting your surgical team called me. I love wolves , and I love the camaraderie between their pets and their chapter. Genuinely loved the vibes of Logan’s Chapter.

After all the help from you guys in here , this is the final list I’ll be playing tomorrow against my buddies’ death guard. We’re running 2.5 k , Saga and Song and Beastslayer as my detachments. Unknown disposition , but ready to rumble and really try this out. First time running Wolf Scouts and Rep Exec., so I’m excited.

I’ll be playing a 2.5 k game this coming Sunday , first time playing a larger scale battle and not really sure what to fully finish my list off with. The Wolf Scouts are a semi fun throw in since I just got them but other than that I’m open to suggestions. I feel pretty comfortable w what I have now but still am learning. I’m running Beastslayer and Saga and Song. Also forgot to add the Fierce Example Terminator upgrade for Arjacs unit.

As far as I know I’ll either be playing against a character and vehicle heavy Death Guard army ( my least favorite ) or Emperors Children army that’s a toss up of what’s in there. Any help is appreciated.

Is anyone else having a problem where saga and song’s enhancements don’t pop up in the terminator wargear options ? It’s almost like I didn’t pick the correct detachment. But in my army rules it’s showing the +1 to charges.

Found some really cool proxies to run as exalted sorcerers and sorcerer lords in terminator armor seeing as those have been out of stock for beyond too long.

Hello , somewhat new to the Space Wolves army ( played like 3 games ) and was curious is any seasons players had any suggestions for my army. I’ll be playing against either a character and vehicle heavy AM , a strong and fast paced also character heavy EC or Aeldari , and a very aggressive advancing army of DG also with a a few characters but relying on vehicles for heavy support. I’ll be using Veterans of the Fang and Saga of the Bold as my detachments.
