So today we got to know that in Abhimanyu hostel there is a fuckin data limit (which is 100GB per month AFAIK) which you can use on wifi. Are you kidding me? I paid 1.7 lakhs and I don't even get unlimited wifi? They already blocked all the entertainment and gaming sites then why do they think putting a data limit was a good idea???? I am getting out of this stupid hostel in next sem.
I know we are the first batch here when KIET has become an university but still what is the good CGPA here? And how are the internal exams here?
I have just joined in my first year of B Tech in a tier 3 college. And all I know in terms of coding as of right now is python (basic level).
Now in our college they are teaching us C++ and which I am getting fine.
Now I want to start DSA. So should I start right now (I mean I still don't know much about C++)? Or should I wait when I am at a good level in C++.

I got 90.4% in 12th and 86.4%ile (2.1 lakh rank) in Mains. From which merit should I fill the form 12th or Mains for CS?
Also, how is the college? Campus? Fest? Placements? My parents are saying it is a good college but recent reviews say otherwise.
Any other good colleges at this score in which I can get CS?

I got 2 lakh 10 thousand rank in JEE and 90.4% in 12th. I am a general male. Yesterday I received the counseling mail and for round-1 they are asking 60k and for hostel they are asking extra 40k.
So is this amount refundable? Should I even apply for the counseling (I am fine with CS or IT)? What else should I take care of?
Any extra information or help would be appreciable.
