Jefferson curl

I started doing these in September last year. Back then I struggled to touch the floor on the first set, but on the second set I was touching the floor pretty consistently. Now it's easy from rep 1.

Planning to load this more in the future. I'm taking the weight progression slowly though, in this time I've gone from 30kg to 42.5kg.

200km in the wilderness of Eastern Finland

I'm going to ride Susitaival and Karhunpolku (not quite the whole way) hiking routes next month. About 50km of this will be on some kind of road, only about 10 which will have asphalt - the rest will be on trails. There are some cool sections on ridges between lakes, like the one on the second photo.

At this point I'm mostly concerned with the food I'll bring (and mosquitos)

+20kg Wide grip pull ups

This 🤏 close to 10 reps but chin didn't touch the bar, looking at the rep speed I should've got it though. I was a little surprised to suddenly get an easy +1 rep

Putting something together

Never gone bikepacking, done a few motorcycle roadtrips before and gone camping on foot. Planning a route in the wilderness of Eastern Finland, mostly forest trails. I just put an universal rear rack on it, connects to the seat tube and has supports underneath, the package says it should handle 25kg.

I'm thinking about a front rack too so all of the weight isn't in the back. Couple of options I'm looking at are Thule Tour Rack and Topeak Tetrarack M1, but I also don't want to throw a ton of money at this lol. Also might add a small frame bag or something to put a spare tube and some tools in.

Just threw some bags on it to see how it'll look like

+40kg Weighted Chin Ups

I haven't done straight bar chins in 3-4 years, started getting some wrist pain from them and then just didn't bother with that variation again - lots of neutral and semi-supinated/V-grip though. I figured I'd give these a try again and see if I can make it work lol

tbh my chin didn't touch the bar on rep 7 with 40kg or the 13th with 20kg but whatever lol

Wide grip pull ups +20kg x 9

These felt great today, in fact the best 20kg extra weight has felt so far. Technically a PR, never got this many reps with 20kg before, especially this clean, but I'm cutting so the absolute weight is decreasing slightly.

120kg Smith BSS

There was a split squat roller here before but it seems to have completely disappeared. I guess I'll learn to do these with a bench instead, feels slightly different.

230kg power shrugs

My only regret is not leaving bigger gaps between the plates, and perhaps even using a deadlift bar.
