Already worried about the sweet treat I'm about to have

We are going to celebrate father's day with cake and ice cream. Cuting is the tradition here and another family member got ice cream so we will be enjoyingboth with more bakery items. I am already worried about the sweet treats I am gonna have. Like I'm suffering without even eating those foods. I'm already debating with myself the amount of cake and ice-cream I'm gonna have. It's like I'm scared of them. No matter how much mental dialogue I have, I know I can't resist a huge serving of both and will probably have leftovers the next day as well.. All this time I will be cursing myself and also eating the same foods I keep telling myself to avoid.

Any tips to stop this noise in my head?

How walking helps with weight loss?

Hi everyone, I'm 28F and new to walking. I'm overweight and also trying for a baby (a lot going on here). I walk 3-5k steps a day sometimes 6k if I am not too tired. The only thing I have noticed is that I feel very light and happy after a walk.

I wanted to know how walking helps with weight loss because the amount of calories I burn is very little. I am not doing any kind of diet either.

New charger split open and fell apart as I pulled it from the socket. I immediately grabbed the exposed circuit and zapped my fingers

Had the worst family dinner this Eid

I had the worst family dinner today, I am mentally and physically exhausted and I want to cry my eyeballs out because I am sick and tired of the stupid jokes and jealousy.

At this point, I don't even know why we are keeping up with all these bullshit relatives when all they do is make fun of us.

It's so disappointing, I ruined my sleep for this, spent the whole day in kitchen just for all of my cousins and their spouses to crack shit jokes and my aunts, uncles and cousins to be mean towards me and my spouse.

I have had enough interactions with these losers for the whole year. At this point I'm seriously questioning the authenticity these relationships. It is full of shit.

How do I build a long lasting Yoga habit?

I started doing yoga 2 years ago and it worked wonders but I fell off the bandwagon and now I am at the basics again. I hardly do it once a week and it's not enough. I want to build a routine that can survive the test of time and changing routines like sickness and workload etc.
