R/cats if your mods are gonna act like this over people showing concern for CATS maybe don’t have a cat sub. This is absolutely disgusting. Letting people show abuse and injury that they let happen is actually sickening.

Playtime=smooches

Video from Eve’s purrrsonal instagram 🥰

And it really is every time. She gets right into attack mode and you really would think that she'll get you because it's hard for cats to control themselves a lot of the time while playing (I know bc I've had so many lol) but she's always so gentle.

I like to do a little trust thing sometimes where I close my eyes while I scratch the couch or floor and even though I know she'll never claw me, I still smile so big every time I feel her little nose tickle my hand. I really do have that much trust in her and it's the same the other way around. She'll never have to worry about me overstepping her boundaries (unless absolutely necessary of course). She really is the most gentle cat I've ever known

Also side note this isn't a dig to any cat who does claw you because it's completely normal too, they're just trying to play and having a spicy kitty boils down to other factors as well like neurological issues, trauma or even just their purrrsonality. It's just one of those little things that makes Eve unique ✨

I’ve never met a better emotional support kitty. All of my anxiety melts away when I’m around her 🥹🩶🤍

I need song recs with similar alto siren-esque vocals (read below)

**PLEASE ONLY MAKE RECS IF YOU’VE HEARD AT LEAST ONE OF THESE SONGS PLEASE (although hearing all of them would help a lot more)**

**The precipice- Jessie Mazin**
**The hand- Annabelle Dinda**
**Infections of a different kind- Aurora**

So I’m very heavily focused on the vocals aspect of these. I love the siren-esque feel to these specific vocals without it being out of my range (alto-weak soprano) vocal flipping and vibrato are big things that I’m looking for here.

Infections of a different kind goes a tiny bit out of my range near the end on her highest chest note but I’ll still take ones like that.

I don’t mind soprano siren-esque vocals but the precipice is the biggest example of what I’m looking for in vocals. It’s like a new high that I’m chasing now.

If there’s very very similar songs that the artists above have put out then please recommend the song unless it’s by aurora because I already pretty much know her entire discography

I miss the Asadal era. Can we bring this wallpaper/poster style back? All pictures made by me -inspired by Asadal.com

u/_sadiecote_ — 17 days ago

2000s Asadal wallpapers are my inspiration. Photo collages Made with various pngs from multiple sources

If you love frutiger aero then hopefully you’ll like my photos! I have an entire folder in my camera roll filled with over 400 transparent pngs all for making these and it’s just so fun to bring these ideas to life! 🌱🫧✈️🐠
I’d love suggestions on making the PNGs better quality or at least have them blend together better

Eve the vogue model

Here’s some of eves best model poses to help make your day better!

So, Eve is not a very playful cat but she’ll try to get the string a few times then walk away. She’s more concerned about me following her to her food bowl so that I can pet her while she eats. Yep. It’s a codependency thing for sure but I don’t mind one bit. She’s so spoiled. She’ll sit there and yell at me if I don’t follow her right away. I’ll sit there and tell her “hold on” and she’ll just back talk me until I do. I hardly ever see her lash her tail out of anger for any reason (she never really gets mad) but I get such a kick out of being able to tell when she has an attitude because she’ll start flicking the tip of her usually pin-straight-in-the-air tail out of slight annoyance.

Then when I finally get up to follow her, her tail shoots right back up and vibrates at the base out of pure excitement while she’s yapping on her way over to the food. Then when we’re over there I have to aggressively pet her haunches and butt and all up and down from her shoulders while she’s shoveling food in her mouth and purring hella loud. It’s been our routine since she was a kitten. I can tell she gets a little anxious if I go by the food bowl without petting her while she’s eating for a whole day so I definitely do it at least once a day unless I’m not home but if I’m not there my mom or brother do it. It’s not that she absolutely needs it but it’s like the glue that holds me and her together. I’m autistic and have routines so I understand her for needing hers. It’s a routine that bonds us every time. She used to cuddle with me and be a lap cat but not so much anymore, which is completely fine because I think she realizes that she got too big to be comfortable laying on top of people. But she’s still always up my butt and follows me around everywhere. If she’s in an affectionate enough mood, she’ll let me kiss her on the cheek. It’s not super common, but I always snatch the opportunity. She doesn’t like anyone in her face but she knows that’s one of my ways of showing affection so if I walk up to her at the right time and lean down with my pursed lips, she’ll “reluctantly” lean her cheek out for me to kiss. And that’s it. I’ll give her a little peck and pet her head. I can tell she doesn’t want one if she pulls away and I never force it.

I know her inside and out and I can read her naturally in terms of boundaries, likes and dislikes. I never try to pick her up because she hates it. She grew up to be such a softy who never hurts people even if they get on her nerves. The only time her claws are out at someone is if they pick her up because she’s just scared and trying to hold on because she feels unstable. Girl I get it I feel the exact same way when people pick me up.

But her belly area is so open and relaxed and you can sit there and rub it. She actually fostered kittens before she was fixed and actually lactated for them so that they could nurse on her, despite being completely a virgin who’s never stepped foot outside. You can sit there and scratch your hand on the couch or floor to play with her and she’ll get right into attack/pounce mode and stalk up on you, but right when she pounces she lands softly in front of your hand and boops it with her nose, claws sheathed the entire time. Even though she’s not much of a cuddler anymore, she’s the sweetest cat ever and petting her while she eats is one of the things we do in place of cuddling.

Why do Reddit mods do this

So I posted in r/ pareidolia which is a sub for posting things that are obviously a certain object but APPEARS to resemble something, like seeing a face in a mountain, or a elephant in a cloud. There is a specific sub for the faces in things but this one is more than just faces it’s anything that basically doesn’t look like the object.

So anyways, I posted a pic of a banana that is very clearly misshapen, it has a more defined lump at the top and the rest falls straight. I titled it “banana dolphin”

I get comments making puns about the dolphin and I even get comments saying it resembles a duck and the post was doing pretty well. All of a sudden one of the mods comments “it looks like every banana” and immediately deletes the post.

In the photos above It shows the conversation that proceeded after the fact, the post itself, a comment from someone who said it looks like a duck, the comment from the mod, and finally, other example of posts that have remained in the sub. Am I crazy for being slightly annoyed at this? I don’t understand how this post is “low effort” in comparison to the other posts on this sub.

I have grey eyes with a very subtle light yellowish hue in half of my left eye. Is this sectoral heterochromia or something else?

Rate these low quality screenshots of Eve

I knew Eve was a vogue model but these pics really brought out her wild side. The poor quality makes it 10x better. These are twitter reaction image worthy
