I have applied for a German study visa using the conditional offer letter I receieved from the public uni I was admitted to for my masters. The condition requires me to acquire 30ECTS in the first year of my admission in the uni. While applying for the visa, I applied for it under the section "Conditional admit, but allowed to start studies immediately" option.

Currently I am on the CSP waiting list and a couple of days ago, I received the enrollment letter from the uni. This letter only states I have been immatriculated as a student but doesn't state any conditions.

So my question is, have I selected the right option during the application? And Can/should I replace my conditional offer letter document with the enrollment letter once I'm out of the waiting list and before entering preliminary review?

I am already having a Samsung Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy Tab S10FE and therefore looking to purchase a Samsung book Laptop to add to the ecosystem. I have currently shortlisted the Galaxy book 4 i5, 16,512GB, 1335U processor which is available on Flipkart at ₹60k and the Galaxy book 5 i5, 16,512GB 225U processor which is avalaible at around ₹76k.

My main usage will be to use them for my higher studies for the next 2-3 years so I will probably be doing some light coding, multitasking and streaming on the device. I would require a good battery life to sit through the lectures tho.

I have read the reviews online and there seem to be a few issues like overheating and screen cracking (is this on all devices or only on the -pro devices? Coz I'm not planning to buy the -pro version). I did alternatively consider Asus ideapad slim 3 and Lenovo Thinkbook 16 as well but the features of the ecosystem like clipboard, shared storage and multi-screen were a bit too cool to be ignored.

So should I really go with a Samsung laptop and if yes, which one? The book 4 or the book 5? My budget is between ₹60-75k.

And if no, which of the Ideapad and Thinkbook should I consider?

I'm planning to buy the Samsung Galaxy Book 4 during the upcoming Amazon sale, and one of the main reasons I'm considering it is the Samsung ecosystem. I'd love to hear from people who own or have used the Galaxy Book 4. How has your experience been with the laptop? Have you faced any display or build quality issues? Would you still recommend buying it in 2026, or would you suggest going with something like a Lenovo or ASUS laptop instead? Is the Samsung ecosystem good enough to justify choosing the Galaxy Book 4 over other laptops in the same price range?

I'm an international student who will soon be moving to Augsburg and I'm currently exploring WGs from WG-gesucht around Hochfeld, Univiertel and nearby the Hochschule. I've got an offer for a 10m² Room in a WG in Univiertel. The rent quoted is €490 which I feel is bit too expensive. This is the only ad that I have got a reply from after days of searching. Should I go for it or look for better options?

PS: I might have to travel a bit (~3.5kms) to get to my uni, which is the Hochschule.

Edit: Additional info for reference - It is a 2 WG - shared bw 2 people. The rent mentioned is warm (thats including electricity, water etc.) Although internet (€19) is not included. The shared spaces are a common lounge and Kitchen.

Hey all,

I am currently applying for student visa for Germany but I'm slightly confused on what document to upload for "School Leaving Certificate" and "School Leaving certificate recognition".

I looked at some old posts on reddit where they mentioned to upload the "TC" of class XII but I do not have any such document with me. The only document I have is my 12th (Karnataka state 2nd PU) marksheet which just says certificate on it and a digilocker document marksheet cum certificate.

Are these the right documents? Or am I missing something? Also what do they mean by "recognition"?

I currently have an offer from uni A. I want to start my visa process using the offer letter of this uni. But suppose I get an admit from uni B while my visa application is on the waiting list/preliminary review, can I switch the uni mid-process? Is this allowed?

If yes, should I let my consulate know about the switch and will this cause delays on my application?

I have already made the payment to the account number they mentioned on the website but the status is still on "Payment Pending" and the status says it hasn't reached flywire. The money was already debited from my account.

I wanted to know how long does it usually take for the money to reflect on Expatrio or the status to be updated and do Flywire/Expatrio send an confirmation email of the transaction and when is this usually sent?

I had applied to TH Augsburg for masters in Electrical Engineering on 1st of May 2026 and it has been more than 6 weeks, the status of the application is stuck on "Recieved". I had received my VPD before hand in the month of April.

Has anyone else here applied to this uni gotten any updates yet? And should I email the uni about it?
