Can I eat this?

Inside of my cucumber is orange instead of white, nothing on Google seems to be helping me, I wondered if there’s any experts on here?

Contamination OCD, can I get over it or manage the discomfort?

I counted the slices of bread I had in the fridge in preparation for my sandwiches in the morning. I woke up and made my sandwiches but there were only 5 slices. I thought, maybe I miscounted. I was extremely sure I didn’t miscount so I asked the present person in the house if they ate any, she said no. I texted the other person that lives here and he said he did. I now can’t eat the sandwiches I’ve made. Is there any way to get over this? I just feel like I’m wasting food constantly.

If they had asked and I witnessed the them not touch it when taking out the slice they wanted or I took it out myself, I would’ve been fine. I now can’t eat the only easy food I had left and I’m on the verge of a breakdown because my autism routine has been thoroughly affected as well.

Has anyone with contamination (food relative) OCD found a way to get over this and just eat anything?

Does anyone still feel extremely suicidal despite taking meds regularly.

I’m on 150mg of Sertraline daily, and I still feel like anytime anything remotely upsets me it spirals extremely fast into depression very fast still and I still feel super unregulated. I feel like I can’t tell the difference between small sadness and manic depression. I have diagnosed ADHD, Autism and Major Depressive Disorder (only diagnosis’ relative to the sub).

I’m completely aware given my diagnosis’ that my serotonin is broken per se and I’m not getting enough, but sometimes I just feel like the SSRI’s aren’t doing enough to help keep the serotonin around before they get sent off again. I also feel like it may just be me being neurodivergent and feeling things extra “spicy” than the normal person.

I know that if I wasn’t on anti-depressants I would be depressed 24/7 but even being sad for a second makes me spiral and I feel like I’m backsliding.

TLDR: Anytime I feel the tiniest bit sad, it spirals FAST into depression, suicidal thoughts and not wanting to feel anything. Anyone else feel like this?

Edit: I’ve been on sertraline for maybe 3 years now. I’m getting irritated I guess at still feeling sad. I think I just have this irrational belief that anti-depressants = never sad. To me sad automatically means I want death.

Should I attend this event that is Hijab not required?

Aside from any transgressions or dislike you may have for LGBTQ folk or the trans community, I would like a genuine response if you can please.

Hi, I’m a trans guy (FTM) and I will be attending an event (max 30 people) with some women being Muslim, who have been told it is a camera free and men free zone so they don’t have to wear Hijabs. Out of respect for them I’m cautious about wanting to go.

I am assigned female at birth and I have not yet started T so my voice is still as it was, I don’t have a beard and I still have my “chest attached” (haven’t had surgery) however I do have masculine hair and dress masculine.

Any advice on how any people on here would feel if I were to go? I want to make sure everyone around me is comfortable and not deceived. The friend that invited me I may ask her too and see what she thinks.

Is one meal a day enough?

Sorry I’m new to this whole eating disorder thing (I’m very aware I have food issues and always have been aware but I didn’t know to what extent until I started feeling it). I eat a proper meal once a day, I know this sub has concerns about talking about meal size but this is a genuine question. If mods want to remove it that’s ok, I’ll try and find another sub to ask about this on. I’ll give an example, I ate 6 small vegan chicken burgers and a pack of raspberries for the day and proceeded to feel shaky and out of breath later. I’m not at all skinny, I’m actually overweight but I’m wondering if I’m mentally compensating for that knowledge by unintentionally reducing my food intake? Is this another health issue or is it because I eat one meal a day is my main question. I mean no harm by asking this I just genuinely can’t tell if I’m losing my mind or not because they’re decently large meals so it feels like I shouldn’t then have reactions in my body alike to not eating enough.
