I am looking for a mobile browser app where I can use my social media apart from my main browser with containers on each social. I've heard about Friendly Social Browser but I don't know anything about the company. Anybody has suggestions? I know having NO socials is the better deal, but I do manage some business and creator profiles so abandoning socials at least on those areas is a no-no for me.

...even if I use Mozilla Firefox forks with uBlock Origin and strict privacy settings. All I want is Outlook or Gmail to not track my fingerprint data in the best efficient way possible. I'm slowly changing my old Outlook and Gmail accounts to safer services like Tuta or Proton.

In the meantime, I still have to use my services. It's a hassle for me to jump into multiple browsers, so I wonder if even with the most secure configuration I helps to protect my data. I mean, at least I'm not using Chrome nor Edge now...

So I just saw a juicy offer for Mail Pass I have to accept. However I also wanted to apply for the Proton Pass. But now that I got the Mail Pass, the Proton Pass deal went gone :( . It's a shame because I was truly looking to use PP even more. Is there a way to pay both of them without having to pay Unlimited? Because I don't see the option. I just want to try the two of theservices before making a choice for yearly tear.

Greetings. So I've been doing video game essays for almost five years. Content is been consistent. I was working on some hardware and game guides, until I kinda stopped caring about it. I just felt a bit shallow for me, even if I was moving some numbers, I think there are far more important things for me to talk about like a specific indie game or a moving story the people might have missed or something from the industry that might be impacting us. So I decided to pivot into essays that criticize the video game and tech industry to basically try to educate people on all the things that are happening these days (privacy, physical media and manufacturing crisis, etc).

So things are not going well on those. I did a couple of really good videos which i personally I'm proud of, but didn't caused any impact. And I'm not looking for fame, I'm not looking a thousand or million views, I'm just looking to connect with somebody on the internet (even if these days it feels more dead than alive).

And then the second problem came in: I moved to another country. And I started another channel with my partner but only shorts focused about travel and life in that new country and it has been a blast. At least on TikTok is been great and I think I truly found some interesting things to talk about almost everyday. Whereas in gaming, I can't talk about specific indie games because no one is interested in them and I kinda feel everybody else is already talking about gaming. Whereas the place and the country I'm living are giving new experiences where I can actually teach and show. However, something tells me is not a good idea to abandon the gaming channel.

So right now I'm undecided. I'm just looking for a place to vent out my situation since I have no one else to talk about this. I just want to see if there's were people also on the same boat as I and what was their approach....

I guess there are still ways to preserve gaming after all. Maybe these will work...

I moved to another country where the plug in outlet and voltage are different. My Lenovo Legion laptop came with a 230W 100-240V charger so I can just use a converter. The problem is, most converters ended up deffective and inconvenient. They're too large and I believe they don't handle voltage that well. So I know (South Korea) they sell the whole adapter, but it would be a bit expensive than simply just buy the cable with the other plug.

Have anybody done this?

...just simply want to use Proton mail directly instead? This questions comes also as a curiosity since I'm slowly deGoogling and deMicroslopping as much as I can.

My question goes to the specific scenario where people import their mail from Google or Microsoft but they keep the emails running and forwarding mails to Proton.

1. If I'm already using Proton Mail for that, can't it be just better if just migrate everything, delete que spam, delete or stop using the old Gmail or Outlook and things I don't care and start using Proton instead of forwarding?

2. Ain't the point of using Proton is trying to minimize the fingerprinting from the tech overlords? But by keeping my Gmail account open, shouldn't that be perpetrating my fingerprint with the whole spam and years of mails received?

3. Is it a good idea to change all those old gmails and microsoft logins from my socials on Proton instead of forwarding from Gmail to Proton?

I guess there are not silly questions. Just wanted to know your thoughts on this and what's your day-today use.

Vivaldi Browser for Windows

Hi there. I just want to use Canva to do some presentations. I put the Canva presentation in full screen mode, not the browser, but the Canva full screen mode itself so people can see details properly. Whenever I switch to another tab on the browser, Canva just exits Full Screen mode somehow. I just moved from Microsoft Edge and I remember that thing doesn't happened there. Is there any settings I should configure on Vivaldi so the Canva presentation won't exit the full screen mode?

I know this is it not a new issue, but I'm desperate to look for solutions. It's not my first repasting I did with my computer. It's a 2021 model with RTX 2070 Super and Intel CPU. This one is the third repasting and I did only because the thermals were peaking pretty abruptly for normal operations up to 85 to 92.

I only removed the touchpad, keyboard, speaker and fans connectivity to remove some of the parts and also clean the dust.

I have to say, there is one screw on the motherboard that ended up stripped and couldn't managed to pull out. Meaning I can't clean the keyboard for now. I tried everything, from super glueing with a screwdriver, the rubber band, a tape, none of it worked. That will be an issue for another time.

Now I need for this PC to turn on as It's my only working tool... I just want to see if anybody else had a similar experience with these computer and seek for any viable solutions...
