Yup as expected, bad levels. Not sure how they got so bad so quickly. Wonder if there’s something else going on too… 🤔

Im seasoned but not all knowing. Normally this Pocillopora species is a pest. Fast growing. Babies sprout new growth all over the place.

Recently and suddenly multiple colonies have been dying from the bottom up. But there’s other colonies that are unfazed.

The tank overall is healthy. Other corals are not dying. Fish are fine. Tank is over ten years old. Wc and cal/mag dosed weekly. Fish minimally fed. Temp consistent at upper 70s never exceeding 79-80°. Maybe the issue is this pocillo specific?

Some of you may know of Steven Hoppin who is a reputed grower and hybridizer. He’ll be putting on a program.
