Does anyone happen to know the name of the music playing in the hallway right before the QUEEN battle, or have a downloadable file of it?

I know this is a really weird question, but I'm so curious that if I don't find out soon, I feel like I'll end up just like a sugar-addicted Elsen.

What aspects of everyday life in the American West are commonly misunderstood or overlooked?

I am developing a historically authentic game set in the American West, and I would like to avoid relying on the usual Hollywood portrayals of the period.

What aspects of everyday life in the American West are commonly misunderstood, oversimplified, or overlooked in popular culture?

I would be particularly interested in details that could help someone understand what life was actually like for ordinary people, including subjects such as:

daily work and domestic life

travel and transportation

communication and the spread of news

life in small towns and settlements

relations between different communities and social groups

clothing, food, entertainment, and recreation

law enforcement and local government

the effects of the Gold Rush and westward expansion

lesser-known historical events or practices that are often absent from popular depictions

I am especially interested in details that might seem surprising to a modern audience, provided they are supported by historical evidence rather than being myths or stereotypes.

I would also appreciate recommendations for primary sources, books, or other reliable sources that could help me research the period further.

I realize that the American West covers a large geographic area and a considerable period of time, so answers about particular regions, communities, or decades are very welcome.

Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.

Complaint and help of rpg maker2003

I recently acquired 2003 and have been trying to figure out how to use it, but I'm struggling because—surprisingly—I can't find any information on Google or YouTube. Does anyone know of any beginner-friendly websites or videos that explain how to use it in detail?

I finally got it! Can't wait to enjoy it

Much love to OFF, YUMENIKKI, and this community for welcoming me into the RPG Maker world! Here’s a stupid shitpost to celebrate!

u/aaakkahs — 1 month ago

I want to start making a game with RPG Maker, but I'm having trouble deciding because there are so many different versions.

The reason I decided to start making a game in the first place is that, after playing titles like OFF, OMORI, and Yume Nikki, I got a bit tipsy and suddenly felt like creating a cult-classic style game.

I looked into RPG Maker, but there are so many versions that I have no idea which one to pick—could you give me some recommendations?

By the way, I have practically zero game development skills, so I’m just going to power through it and build it step-by-step through sheer determination.

Also, the phrasing might be a bit odd because it went through translation.

What is needed to build a steam turbine?

Hello!

I'm a complete beginner.

I'm planning to build a steam turbine to tame a Gold Volcano, but the recipe calls for 4,000g of Gaskets. Since the game only displays the quantity of Gaskets in units (number of items) rather than weight, I don't know how many plastic Gaskets I need to craft!

Am I perhaps mistaken about what I'm supposed to be making?

The ending might sound a bit weird due to translation :(

Which VPN is best for playing Roblox to bypass my dorm's Wi-Fi restrictions?

My dorm Wi-Fi blocks Roblox and Roblox Studio, so I cannot use them at all. Someone recommended a VPN, but I don't know how to use it or which one to choose. Please give me some tips. I want a free and safe VPN.

Do you ever consider the true size of each zone? How big is this area actually, considering players can't even access it?

First of all, if everything the judge says is true, Zone 0 is really nothing more than a tiny, isolated island.

Zone 1 mainly consists of buildings, barns, ranches, and mines, but I wonder if there are actually some pretty large ranches stretching even further back?

I think it’s about the second-largest zone out of all of them.

Zoon 2 features a library, a supermarket, and an amusement park that looks like it would give you a headache—I think it really feels like a fully-fledged town. As for the overall size, I didn’t think there were that many unexplored areas since the player can move around almost the entire Zoon, but looking down from the top of a building, I got the feeling this might actually be the biggest zone.

As for Zoon 3, I just think it’s basically a huge factory with a small living area attached to it—I don’t get the feeling there’s another factory somewhere in uncharted territory or anything like that. I actually thought it was probably on the smaller side.

Also, I'll leave “the room” up to you guys—it's just too weird.

And as for the world of the manga, no comment (you shouldn't think of it as “zone”... uh... probably...).

at last I hope my deepl translation is perfect

I'm facing a food crisis, so I'd appreciate your advice on food. (And while I'm at it, I'd also like you to listen to my complaints about an unjust incident that just happened.)

I’m past Cycle 70; my group of eight has dwindled to five due to starvation. Up to that point, I had been relying on farming terminals, a small blueberry patch (about 10 plants), and a Hatch ranch. However, I eventually ran into a calorie deficit. I tried hunting wildlife—without driving them to extinction—and digging up soil to find wild nuts, but I couldn't keep up, and colonists began dying one by one. One of the deceased was my science specialist; since no one else had developed research skills, the situation is a bit precarious. Fortunately, he had completed a significant amount of research before he died, so I should be able to progress—at least up to the point just before expanding to the surface—for the time being. The other two who died were handling farming and general chores, but their loss doesn't seem to be causing any major issues so far.

For now, I plan to use fertilizer and wait through three cycles to grow blueberries—enough to make a 2,000-calorie meal for five people. I’m going to grow about 12 to 13 plants, just to be safe, instead of the standard 10. Could anyone give me some advice on food? As a complete beginner, I’d really appreciate any guidance you can offer.

(This is just me venting, but while three people were dying of starvation, the science specialist was the last to go. I tried everything I could to keep him alive and managed to produce some food, but all the food I produced was completely consumed by one idiot who wasn’t even showing any signs of starvation. The worst part was when the scientist’s calorie count dropped below 150—a desperate situation—and I’d just managed to get the scientist to hunt some wild animals, thinking I could finally breathe a sigh of relief. But right then, that idiot started snatching the food and eating it. He ended up dying of starvation right then and there.

Seriously, at that moment, I almost smashed my screen.)

Pls show me super simple and easy metal volcano taming facility you made

Anything sloppy is fine, but I don't want anything complex that can be made in the late game

Do you think taming a metal volcano is a good idea?

  • Submerge the volcano in water (ice-made temporary thermal conduction panels are easy).
  • Close the mechanical airlock via a thermo sensor when it reaches 40°C or higher (high temperatures turn water into steam, causing leaks).
  • Cool from the side through metal tiles.

Thoughts after watching the cleaner in the movie Nikita

I watched Nikita at midnight yesterday, and I was hit by such an indescribable feeling that I ended up watching it twice. No, really, it's so difficult that I can't put it into words, in the best possible way.

Then, after I finished watching it, after Nikita, the one I was really drawn to was the Cleaner. Not because he was cool or wild, but just... something. I do have the image of him as a cold professional, but at the same time, somehow, he seemed like someone who had some kind of obsession, as if he was deeply trapped by the work of killing. It's as if they have some kind of obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Sorry for saying it again and again, but it's really difficult to put into words, and it's frustrating.

What kind of past and position do you think he has? Or rather, what did you all think of him after watching the film? For some reason, I just can't see him as the same kind of hitman that appears in a lot of other movies. You could say he feels human, but I feel like it was something different from that. It felt like there was something deep inside him, the same as Nikita, or maybe even more than that.

Is it okay to start with Dead Space 2?

The Dead Space series was on sale on Steam, so I decided to start playing it and bought the remade version. However, after doing some research, I found out that my laptop's specs are not high enough. I'm now considering starting with the second game. Would it be okay to start with the second game without playing the first one?

The translation may be a bit off.

Addendum: Deepl has made some changes to the text, incorrectly stating that I purchased Deadspace. I did not purchase it.>:(

THANK YOU GUYS I WILL START THE 2

I want to play a certain OFF fan game and obtain image and audio data, but VirusTotal detected a Trojan horse. I have absolutely no technical skills, so I would appreciate it if someone could help me

May I post a download link for a MediaFire game?

I apologize for asking you to do this for free.

I do have some cat pictures.⚞^•⩊•^⚟

The English may be incomplete because it was translated:<

I’d like to extract images and audio data from an old fan game where a Trojan horse was detected, or ideally, play the game itself. Where should I ask for help?

I found a fan game for [OFF] online that was uploaded to MediaFire over 10 years ago, but VirusTotal detected a Trojan, so I deleted it without even extracting it. My top priority is to play the game, but I’d also like to get the image and audio files. Which file-sharing site should I use for this? I can’t afford to pay for any services. Please note that the English may sound a bit unnatural since this was translated. :<

What should I do?

Is there some kind of problem?

If the issue is with the network, I live in a dorm, so the internet options I can use are limited.

Also, the message in the image says:

“Failed to download or apply critical settings. Please check your internet connection.”

And here’s a picture of my cat too :)🐱
