TEFL or CELTA for Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia

Hi everyone, I want to teach English in Central America (Costa Rica or Panama or Colombia) and I’m wondering if anyone has experiences they can share, recommendations or tips for online courses and if you would recommended enrolling in a CELTA course instead.

I am contemplating getting a TEFL certification from tefl.org to get certified or get a CELTA certification from Cambridge. Please let me know what you think!
