Working out with eczema
I have full body moderate-severe eczema, I've had it my entire life. I've gained a bit of weight since covid and finally trying to shift it as well as get a bit fitter - however sweat is such a huge trigger for my skin. I can't do more than 20 minutes in the gym without my skin feeling like its on fire, and I have to shower immediately and then its flared for days. I've started swimming which has been surprisingly okay as I dont sweat, however I'd like to be able to work out in the gym and get fitter other ways without it being unbearable.
Does anyone else have this? How do you deal with sweat being a huge trigger?
Before I finish this, does it look in proportion? It's my first wearable and it's for a 12mo
I haven't made a jumper before and I can't help feeling it looks off. Does this look okay? It's for my friend's 12 month old son, they live very far away so I can't try it on him for size sadly!
Are they green? I feel like they are but people love to tell me they aren't
Haven't had a cut in about 4 years...my mum helped me today!
Feels so much shorter but definitely healthier.
Calories estimate for this?
The mini pitta is 46. Cous cous, spinach pasta. Falafel, stuffed pepper, red pepper houmous, potato salad. Thanks!
I had such a nice examiner and passed first time!
I thought I'd share a really positive experience I had with lovely examiner!
I was an older learner (30) and had about 2 years of lessons as I was extremely nervous due to some past trauma. Test time came, the first time my instructor advised me to cancel and book a new one as I wasn't ready. So I did that, and then this April my new test came and I was an absolute ball of nerves.
My examiner was absolutely lovely. She was so reassuring throughout the whole thing, at one point she told me to pull up and said "take a few deep breaths, I can see you're really nervous". I was convinced for a moment I'd failed and she was terminating the test because I'd done so badly, haha. But she wasn't! She gave me about 30 seconds to get myself together and then told me to reverse back, pull back out and carry on. And I passed!!
Just wanted to share that examiners aren't as evil and looking to fail you as it can feel like sometimes. Some are so lovely and she made me feel so at ease.
Still can't believe I passed!
All console. Can't believe I never used the tent from Little Campers as a bedroom tent before!
