Is there a better way to fill this gap?
Currently pulling roofing tar out so i can proper rechink my house. The wood shims (spacers) arent structural, they are just wedged in there and a big glob of tar covered everything. Is there a better way to seal this up?

How much roofing tar do i need to remove to effectively rechink this place?
Restoring this place and just had it blasted, now im removing roofing tar chinking so i can put some permachink in its place. No sure how it will seal considering this is oil and im not sure how the new stuff will stick to it.

I might be buying my neighbors used x304 4wd but im worried about the transmission reliability as i live on the side of a mountain and have steep hills. Am i being a worrywort because the k46 transmission isnt as bad as i think it is...

Pegging calculator - simulator
Hi everyone, reading though that 6,6,6,6,7,8 whatdo from a couple of days ago - and the comment by u/_The_Room got me thinking about a monte carlo type simulator for ideal pegging strategies.
I like to think I know a lot of traps, and how to peg fairly well, but I would love to know a more heuristic approach. When should I be discarding that 5 as pone knowing I'll be leading the whole sequence?
Also, I know how to run a python program, but I'm not a 'programmer' of such things. Is anyone else interested in creating something like this?
