Any small churches need volunteer drummer?

I’ve always loved playing contemporary Christian music. Moved here last year and would love to find a smaller church with a passionate, volunteer led worship group. Or if anyone has any church recommendations that might be worth reaching out to, I’d love to hear them!

TIFU by thinking I’d be fine by myself after anesthesia and getting banned from my vet

This actually happened two weeks ago.
I had a small operation that required anesthesia and a lot of pain medication. The hospital told me someone needed to pick me up afterward. But I just moved across the country so I decided to lie ans tell them my ride was outside and then just get an Uber home.
I dont remember much after the surgery or for most of the rest of the day.
The following week, I was supposed to leave the country and was planning to bring my cat which I needed some paperwork from my vet for. So at some point during my post anesthesia blackout, I called them about it. I have absolutely no idea what I said on that phone call but it was bad enough that I got an email telling me they were terminating their relationship with me as a client!
Then next thing I remember, I’m BIKING to my vet, which is thankfully only a few blocks away, and like falling all over the place, I think I ran into a street sign lmao
Then I’m inside the vet’s office, sobbing and screaming because they fired me as a client, waving my hospital bracelets at them and yelling, “I AM ON ANESTHESIA and FENTANYL!” Yikes

Anyway, this is your reminder that when a hospital tells you that you need someone with you after anesthesia, they are not just being overly cautious. You may feel like it’s no big deal to take an uber and next thing ya know ur screaming at your vet bleeding down the knee like a psycho

TLDR Thought I’d be fine alone after anesthesia. Blacked out, apparently had an insane phone call with my vet, got let go as a client, biked there while still completely drugged, fell all over the place, and screamed “I AM ON ANESTHESIA!” while waving my hospital bracelets at them

Memorial Drive & Western Ave needs a pedestrian only crossing phase

I run/walk/bike through this intersection multiple times every day and it’s one of the most dangerous intersections I use. I see close calls weekly.
Drivers speed down Memorial Drive and turn left onto Western Ave without realizing pedestrians and cyclists have the walk signal on the river path. I see drivers cut through the crosswalk and nearly hit people at least once a week. This is one of the busiest paths along the Charles with runners, walkers, and bikes commuters crossing all day.
I cross this intersection so cautiously that I often get off my bike and walk it, despite having the right of way.
This intersection needs a pedestrian only crossing phase ASAP. Another benefit is that it would give a crosswalk on the south side. It’s connected to both the river path and a residential neighborhood, yet people have to cross three legs of the intersection just to reach the path. Seems simple enough to me

Account likely getting shut down, but have an active guest staying

Very confused what to do, I made an original post about my cohost account on Airbnb being shut down because of being “associated with another account that violated terms and agreements” originally our property was only listed on their profile, but after their account closed, I put it up onto mine.

Weeks later, my account was also wiped, but not fully shut down. They removed all of the reservations and they also removed my booking as a guest that I was checking in that day and didn’t give me a refund and will no longer speak to me on the phone.

Although Airbnb removed my booking and canceled my existing reservations, a guest was still able to book a 2-month stay after the fact and checked in 3 days ago.

The reservation is active and everything with the guest is going smoothly.
But now I’m worried we won’t get paid out, the guest checked in 3 days ago and Airbnb is showing the first payout won’t be sent until July 15. They also won’t speak to me on the phone anymore and when I called, they say someone is working on my case. But I’m worried because I have an active guest staying at the House house and haven’t been paid for it. They already canceled my reservation in New York City that I had as staying as a guest and didn’t give me a refund so I’m worried that they might not pay me for this guest two months stay at my property. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do here? I would normally call them, but they refuse to speak with me.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Wasn’t able to post this in the general Airbnb sub Reddit but curious about this situation

I have a strange situation and I’m wondering if anyone has experienced something similar.

About a month ago, my business partner’s Airbnb account was suddenly closed. Airbnb said the account was being removed because it was associated with another account that had violated Airbnb’s Terms of Service. As a result, all of our bookings were canceled and the account was shut down.

We co-own a rental property, so after that happened I listed the property on my own Airbnb account instead. Everything seemed fine for about a month. We received a few bookings and had no issues.

Then a few days ago I traveled to New York City for a three-night stay that I had booked through Airbnb for about $1,500. When I arrived at the property, I discovered that my Airbnb account had effectively been wiped. My hosting reservations were gone, my guest reservation was gone, and I could no longer access messages.

I called Airbnb multiple times. They told me they couldn’t discuss the issue with me and said they would contact the host and call me back. The problem was that I was literally standing outside the property with the host. The host told me Airbnb never contacted them. The host also told me Airbnb said I had never contacted Airbnb, which obviously wasn’t true.

The host could still see my reservation and our message history on their end, but I couldn’t see any of it. They had sent check-in instructions through Airbnb messaging, but I wasn’t receiving messages anymore. Because of that, they didn’t feel comfortable giving me access to the property outside the platform.

I ended up having to find a hotel at around 10 PM in Manhattan and spent another $1,500 on a last-minute room.

At this point I’m assuming my account was also closed because Airbnb believes it’s associated with my business partner’s account, which was itself closed because of an alleged association with another account.

My question is: does a credit card dispute have a reasonable chance here?

I’m not really arguing about Airbnb’s right to close accounts. It’s a private company and they can decide who uses their platform. What I’m struggling with is that I paid for a stay, showed up at the property, couldn’t access the reservation because my account had been disabled, and haven’t received a refund.

Has anyone successfully disputed a charge in a situation like this where the reservation wasn’t actually provided but the platform claims the account was ineligible to use the service?

Cannot progress past beginner, advice?

I feel pretty stuck, been surfing like this for a few years. I moved from CA to New England last year so I can really only surf twice a week now. Trying to do as many trips as I can. I feel like my turns are so slow and embarrassing
