heat exhaustion? what happened?

i was at a fair yesterday. i was probably outside for an hour and 30 mins to 2 hours. very little shade. during the time i was outside, my body started to lock and it was difficult for me to text or move around properly. as the day went on, it started to get worse and worse. actually, it started to freak me out, has this ever happened to you guys?

i take 15 mg of haldol in the morning and 5 at night.

i honestly think it was heat exhaustion and large amounts of sunlight hitting me for a long period of time.

my reasoning for wanting to leave my department

this is a bit of a long post, but stay tuned!

i worked with department for 3 years. i first started off as a picker, then slowly took the role of a primary dispenser in the morning. i had another team member that they were the primary dispenser but, they slowly deteriorated after the abuse that my department made them go through. they left and never came back. at the time, i didnt really understand.

now i do.

after they left, i took the role of primary dispenser from 5-2am, at first, i loved it, i loved bagging, dispensing, prepping and staging. at first, i was allowed someone to help me, usually like another person. it was very easy like that, one person would pack and stage, while i would dispense and prep. it was a very good system. i learned a lot from the person i worked with prior, they taught me almost everything i know about dispensing and the rest, i learned from other team members or i just self taught myself, my coach and team lead never wanted to give me the chance, but i pushed through and made it and now im here.

this is when everything goes bad.

recently, the area has been really funky. a lot of people are quitting, clocking out and just not working as a team. my team lead is always angry and yelling. i have to stay in that environment, ive asked to go pick but, they refuse because no one else wants to dispense. i put up with it for a while because im pretty good at dispensing, i keep the wait time under 3 minutes or less even when theres 4+ drivers outside and im solely dispensing by myself. it has a toll on the body. i didnt slow down, but they became greedy. they decided to leave me by myself most of the time. it was bagging, staging, prepping and dispensing solely for me. it gets exhausting, my body felt awful. i didnt call out, i didnt even stop working. i continued, i even worked EXTRA hours to help out.

ive been called lazy, stupid, idiot and so many other things from my team lead. ive been yelled at by my team lead. ive taken their mistreatment for so long. it started to have an impact on my mental health. i deal with some mental disorders that arent so easy to deal with, but i still work. i didnt stop, but its gotten to the point, i cant take it anymore. theyre constantly yelling, constantly insulting people, constantly being negative, which feeds my disorder. ive started calling out of work, ive been leaving early. ive mentioned to my boss. nothing has come out of it.

ive decided to take a leave of absence, i needed time to take care of my mental health. i was at 3 points, i called out once, now ive bumped up to 6 points, im considered for termination. at first, i felt hopeless, but it doesnt matter anymore. i cant take this unfair treatment anymore. this is so messed up. there are some people that dont use their ppto or pto for when they come late (30 mins - 1 hour) they also dont get in trouble for not coming in some days, they dont get pointed for leaving early. there is a person in my department that has called out more than i have and they have a larger amount of ppto and admitted to me, they dont use it. my coach lets them take the time off.

now, i completely understand some people have their things theyre going through, but theyve ADMITTED to me, they take days off when they want to go places and my coach allows them.

its unfair.

loa?

hey, ive been working at a walmart for about almost 3 years. ive taken loa almost each year since then for medical reasons (i have a serious mental disorder, which makes it hard to function at times) ive been hospitalized each year because each year, ill ask them for less hours and to let me have days off more because if i work more, ill most likely have a mental break. each time, im ignored and i end up getting hospitalized. this is my third year and i want to break the cycle, ive been asking to days off, days off, ive even had a mental break on saturday and they made me come in the next day. i asked for the day off, but i was told to come in for 4 hours because it was key event day. i legit couldnt, but i still did. its gotten to the point that i go to my programs groups 3 times a week and i have individual therapy twice a week to cope. i honestly dont know if they think im just playing around and will just get over it but, it doesnt work like that. a little bit of the fucked up things about my store, im a dispenser, i work at 5-2 almost 4-5 days out of the week. i pick too, but they wouldnt let me really pick. they want me to dispense because no one else wants to dispense and they force me to dispense. its summer time and ive stated MULTIPLE times, i can not dispense in the heat, its dangerous for me because i take specific medications that makes it prone for me to have a hear stroke, at the moment also, i have a fucked up waist too from dispensing so much. ive requested to NOT DISPENSE, YET, IM TOLD TO DISPENSE. its just this fucked up treatment thats putting me over the edge. theres different standards for different people and its fucked! ive decided with the help of my therapist and psychiatrist to take a loa, its for the best of my mental health and theres nothing else i can do. its just stressful. i dont know, i just wanted to share if anyone else in the walmart hell is going through something similar.

im not sure if my dog had a focal seizure. *a bit of a long story*

little background of my dog
hey, i have a dog named jojo, hes about to turn 10 and hes a black lab. weve had him since a baby and hes never had any issues besides messing up his leg one time when he was 2 years old (just ended up twisting it out something, got fixed and never had any issue) we go to the vet every year and the vet always says hes a one and million dog, hes never sick and hes in great health. jojo is an emotional support animal, i have schizoaffective and i wanted a friend to be around to take care of.
anyways, to the actual event that took place a couple minutes ago. (i dont have video, im sorry, i was frozen in fear. i knew if i moved, i would have panicked and i just wanted to be as calm as i could) i had taken him out for his evening poop around 8:45pm. everything was normal we come back inside and he usually gets his usual carrot after hes done with his poops. i go to get him his carrot and i call his name, he doesnt come, it sorta striked me as odd, but sometimes he does funky things. i come back and start giggling that hes being funky.
when i look, hes just sorta frozen, looking at the kitchen. i ended up calling for my sister to come and she said it was weird, he still just staring at the kitchen, we didnt really do anything, we sorta just sat at the chairs and just watched, my sister suggested that he saw something that spooked him. i said i do see things, but i am schizophrenic so its just hallucinations so its probably not that. he then got down on his stomach and starting shaking, which worries us. i get close to him and started to pet him, telling its okay. in my heart, i felt broken, ive never seen him like this ever. he was shaking for a while then stopped but, didnt get up. he sorta just stayed in the spot. we recently moved his bed to the corner of the living room so i had the idea to move it back to the original spot it was, which is in front of my door. he slowly got up and went onto his bed and just went to sleep. im just worried, im keeping my door open tonight because i want to periodically check up on him.
any ideas what it might be?

UPDATE:

its 11:04pm, i had went to the bathroom, hes now on the floor in front of his bed. hes isnt really moving, it looks like hes asleep. im not too sure why he got off his bed, but little dude is just chillin on the floor.

how do i communicate at work that im actively going through hallucinations?

hi, ive been working at my job for about 3 years. ive been hospitalized for two of those years for a period of time (like a week or two), my job knows about my mental health and tries their best to accommodate for it (giving me 3-4 days off or scheduling me for 5-6 days but just in smaller shifts) which i find very helpful. my peoples lead and my coach arent the problem, its my co workers. there are times that my mood will change because im actively hearing, seeing, feeling or smelling things that arent there. it causing a whole amount of fear and other emotions which causes me to become very quiet and “blank” looking. my normal personality is very bubbly and im usually very happy to be at work, there are just sometimes, i become very overwhelmed at work and will be actively hallucinating. the issue is, my co workers will question me each time asking what exactly is going on because there is an active switch. there are sometimes it gets so hard to hear anything around me and my job requires me to have active listening skills. ill ask to use my 15 mins, but even when i ask for my 15, i use coping skills (splashing water on my face, deep breathing, grounding techniques etc) and it seems like i still have issues coming back acting “normal” so the whole issue is, how do i approach my coworkers saying something is going on without saying what is going on? ive stated to them, hey, im just going through some stuff, i dont really want to get into it please, but it seems to make a lot of other people uncomfortable and want to talk to me more, trying to make me laugh and giggle, but it just doesnt work. i just remain blank.

what do i do?

sorry, for the jumping around, i just re read it and its very all over the place.

frustration at ogp area

so, ive been working at this walmart im currently at for about three years. my TL is very explosive and will get upset at ANYTHING and EVERYONE just by the littlest thing and we cant really go to management because they dont really do anything. i think a lot of us have spoken up about it but we cant really do anything. we have this new guy, he just doesnt really focus that well and will forget things (i did that a lot when i was starting, i have >!adhd!<) she will yell at him and sorta taunt and call him stupid, which doesnt really make me feel comfortable or good. when we speak up about to her, she will start complaining about how shes just trying to make us better pickers and dispensers, it doesnt make sense because personally, i feel like if we’re constantly being yelled at and constantly judged, were either gonna quit or just not work or ask for help from her. i have to constantly work with her because she stays in the area and helps me stage while im actively going outside and dispensing, a lot of the time, she will just leave me by myself while im going outside and i will have like 3-4 drivers all at once and will just go and disappear, which really annoys me but i cant really say much. it feels like most of the time, im just a solo team. no one wants to help me dispense. a lot of times, i will just dispense by myself til i go to lunch, WHICH IS 12PM (keep in mind, IM AN OPENER, I COME IN AT 5AM) if i say i want to pick, she gets upset and says that i have to stay because no one else wants to do it so i feel pressured to stay (also, i didnt mention this but i just got reminded of it, if i dont dispense, i will have to do all the oversize, team lift, specialty oversize and help anyone with heavy stuff). i dont know, i personally like my store because ive made a lot of friends and i have a lot of nice coworkers that i talk to, also the location is VERY close to my house (5 mins away) so i can literally wake up really late, get ready and just head out. yea, sorry for the long rant, i just dont really know what to do.

just want some clarity and wanna discuss something!

hi! im thinking im aromantic and ace but im not sure. im currently in a relationship and im quite happy about it, but in the past ive never been interested in relationships, as in when i was a lot younger, i would be in relationships but not because i wanted to be. just because people would force me to or i just didnt want to be lonely (i was severely bullied so they would threaten to not be friends with me if i didnt date them) i know im a lesbian (im also nonbinary) but ive never found the need to be in a romantic or sexual relationship. i never wanted to be in one. currently, im with my partner and were been together for 3 years, im the happiest i could be. the thing is i never see anyone else but her. i dont really imagine myself with anyone else but her. like im just set on her, if we were to break up (i dont think we would) i wouldnt go out and seek another relationship. i get grossed out by seeing other people kiss, hug, hold hands and even have sex on tv, real life or even in comic books. i also cant really find feelings and wants from other people, like i dont find another people attractive. i just solely see her as a beauty and i love her very much. im not sure… is this normal?
