Found a nail in my popsicle! Should I complain?

I expected a nice orange sherbet popsicle but the hands of fate decided that 2 weeks ago a factory worker put a weird gold plated nail in my popsicle... great value, you are my greatest enemy. #Walmart

Besties share your first job horror stories and how glad you're to leave it

Having a bad couple of months at work. This is my first job and I will most likely resign by the end of this week.

Very anxious about taking that step. I don't have a backup but I have a couple of things to take care of before I start job hunting so I'm sorted that way. Family is supportive and not dependent on me financially.

Need some encouragement to finally take that step. My job is really impacting my mental health.

What was your first job and why did you leave it?

Tried the new orange city bus in Greater Noida today

A couple of things I like about the new service:

  1. Cheaper than regular old Greno to Noida tricolourUPSRTC buses - travelling the same route for ₹30 instead of ₹36/39
  2. Air conditioned
  3. Much quiter since it's an EV
  4. Got it from Pari Chowk only like one could in olden times

Stuff I don't like:

  1. This bus too, doesn't go till Botanical garden metro station and only drops of passengers at sector 37. So if you want to go to the nearest metro you have to go all the way to golf course.
  2. The bus looks dirty already like an ill maintained private Bus. That was not the case with the dark green City buses (low floor) that used to ply between 2017-2020. They were always clean and very well maintained.

If anyone has the schedule for these buses please share.

Besties who live far from their workplaces and travel for multiple hours, which handbag do you use?

So I'm a litigating lawyer practicing in another city and travel for 4 hours totally everyday to and fro work. I use multiple modes of transport such as metro, Bus, auto and a serious amount of walking.

I use a schoolbag (literally the one I've been using since I was in class 9) since that's the best option I've found. It fits everything I need and is comfortable for travel since the weight goes on both shoulders and I can hang it in the front in crowded metros and buses when I don't get a seat.

The only downside of using a schoolbag is that it does not look professional. Since I'm in early 20s and litigation is a majorly male dominated field, I need to look serious and older than I am to be taken seriously. I also wear ethnic to court so a school bag just doesn't go well with it.

So now I'm on the lookout for a comfortable handbag (hopefully one that gets converted into a bag that can be hung on both the shoulders like a schoolbag with nice straps). This is what I usually carry in my bag:

  1. Laptop + chargers
  2. Lunchboxes (steel)
  3. Water bottle
  4. Umbrella
  5. A folder with all essential papers I need for court
  6. Wallet
  7. Miscellaneous items like lip balm, small mirror, mask, sanitiser, cloth to clean my glasses
  8. My visiting cards (also looking for a nice case for those)

The best handbag I've been able to find it a GUESS tote the only downside of which was that the rubber (?) lining on the straps left marks on my white clothing.

I've also tried a https://mokobara.com/products/the-skye-tote and while the bag was spacious as fuck it was very uncomfortable and heavy to carry in the metro.

Please suggest and comfortable handbags you've come across that can accommodate my needs.

TL;DR - looking for a comfortable hopefully convertible handbag that has a lot of space and is easy to carry for long travel.

What resources, books, articles would you recommend to someone who wants to understand astrology?

I want to start with the very basics of astrology and want to make my way up to being able to read charts. How should I start? Are there any courses I should enroll in?

Took a flight from NIA recently. Here are some visuals.

The airport wasn’t crowded at all. Everything is very new and shiny. A notable mention goes to the washrooms. Both male and female washrooms have a baby changing table and there’s another washroom that can be used by anyone.

Edit: adding more info
I live in greater Noida so it took me about 35 mins to reach the airport at 6PM. The only traffic was until Pari Chowk, rest was a very smooth and speedy ride. I used a cab but new City buses now ply till jewar airport.

Another notable mention is that since there is almost no crowd, all the staff sort of caters to you and gives you a luxury experience. As soon as I got off the car there was a person waiting with a trolley so that It wouldn't have to go grab one myself.

The staff inside kept asking us how we liked the airport. At the security check once we were done putting the stuff back in our bags the attendants came to us and put our baskets back in place. I was not used to such hospitality since I've taken all my flights from IGI, and I know this won't last long once the crowd starts coming in but it was nice nonetheless.

People who don't live in societies, how do RWAs function in your sectors?

I believe RWA re-election season is here. In my sector its the same two uncles competing against each other with no one else even knowing that elections have happened or that they have the right to vote and contest elections.

How active is RWA in your sector and are elections democratic?
