What we can tell about owner of this helmet... (casual discussion)

Based on this helmet, here’s what we can say about its owner:

  • his nickname is “Hak” (probably it is nick)
  • We’re not sure what that cartoon character (on back) is supposed to mean, but it’s probably some kind of symbol.
  • he practices karate (Kyokushin)
  • (optionally) he’s probably a fan of Japan
  • and he of cousre is Harley owner :)

Question though:
Do you think those last two things clash with each other too much? What you think guys?

BTW its Just another helmet airbrush painted some time ago in my studio.

Copywriter

Takim... Copy-ghost-writerem 😌

One of many my airbrush paintings on larger surfaces

From time to time I put aside motorcycle helmets and travel to a neighboring country to paint things like this on huge surfaces (amusement ride facades) using completely different kit of airbrushes.

Most of the time they give me complete artistic freedom, so I can basically paint whatever I want (usually they only tell me which colors should dominate or what general theme/design they want).
Dream job, right? 😌

And this is actually my fulfilled dream and everyday reality at Aerografit Studio 👉 https://www.aerografit.pl/

Could you guys rate my (art-related with 10 years) YouTube channel?

Now i would like to ask you something. I’ve been running my YouTube channel for around 10 years now, although there was a long break of about 3 years in the middle where I either uploaded nothing or just a few insignificant videos. At the time I didn’t really need YouTube because most of my clients came from my socials and website (aerografit.pl, if someone is more interested), I already had plenty of work, and editing videos always took me a huge amount of time while the response was relatively small. So eventually I abandoned the channel.

And I’ve realized that I made a mistake by completely neglecting the channel, so my advice to you guys would be: it’s better to upload something, even short, imperfect than to abandon a channel completely.

Now I’m trying to revive it again, but honestly it’s going pretty hard. Maybe that’s just normal these days on YouTube, but…

Could you take a look at it from the perspective of today’s YouTube (2026)? I came up with this thumbnail style myself - do you think it works? Is it okay? What would you personally improve or advise? But i really dont want to be these "influencer clickbait colorfull" type of guy (in you know what i mean).

I’d really appreciate any advice, feedback, or criticism.

Metal Boss Hoss custom motorcycle airbrush painting - by Aerografit

I hope you will like my post.
I usually paint mainly helmets (as Aerografit Studio in Poland), but this is one of the full motorcycle sets I had the pleasure of airbrush painting. As you can see, it’s a complete kit for a Boss Hoss custom bike. What do you think about this style of paintwork? Opinions were divided at the time. It’s of course one of my older projects, but I’m curious about your opinion as people from outside my country.

So, i wainting for your honest opinions.

Spiderman helmet airbrush painting - timelapse speedpainting tutorial - by Aerografit

Let me share with you a tutorial/timelapse video that I actually recorded about 12 years ago… but i uploaded it few days ago.

It’s a full speedpainting timelapse of airbrushing process a Spider-Man helmet. This was a design I absolutely loved when I was learning airbrushing, and I always dreamed to make one. Since then I’ve painted 7 of them in total. And the one shown in this video was my second Spider-Man helmet i painted.

Feel free to check it out, i hope that maybe it will be helpful for someone.

Do you guys paint this type of designs too? Do you enjoy making them? Because I really do 😌

And if anyone’s interested, there are more airbrush timelapses on my YouTube channel. My full gallery you can check on my website: https://www.aerografit.pl
BTW, I also started with blog but in my native language (Polish).

Airbrushing on flexible surfaces like banners, roll-up inserts - any experience?

Okay, this time I’ve got a slightly unusual question. Has anyone here tried airbrushing a surface like a PVC banner, tarpaulin, or a roll-up insert? The main issue is that the material is very very very flexible. And i need to paint something like this and of course make sure it’s properly protected so the paint will hold up over time.

Would something like automotive paints combined with a clear coat and an added plasticizer be enough for this kind of job? Anyone tested it?

I’ll be testing this soon anyway. I know - not the easiest one 😉

Any your personal opinions about AGV helmets? More specifically about the AGV K5S?

Like in title: what you think about AGV K-5 S helmet? Or even about AGV helmets? Im asking mainly about integral helmets. Or maybe you can recommend better model than K-5 S from AGV stable?

About these new '2024' versions of Harder&Steenbeck airbrushes, lets talk...

I’d like to ask for your own experiences, reviews, opinions, and generally a few words about the new '2024' signed versions of the Harder & Steenbeck airbrushes.

Personally, I’ve always had a soft spot for this brand. My H&S Evolution Silverline has been with me continuously for about 17 years now and was my second airbrush in my life. Later later i also own an Infinity, Evolution X, and even an Ultra X.
And honestly, I’m not looking at this change very optimistically, because once these new versions and models take over, it usually means spare parts for the older ones become harder and harder to get over time. I assume with 95% certainty that the parts are not interchangeable, right? I can already see that even buying the older versions themselves will be start to becoming more difficult to buy. And I’m also disappointed that the new lineup doesn’t include a siphon-feed version anymore.

At the same time, naturally, I’m still interested in these new models. The question is: what is the actual difference between the old and the new ones? How do you evaluate the “progress”? How much better are they really are? And what about these Gilardez versions?

I waiting for and appreciate your opinions and experiences on this topic.

Here’s an example of how a helmet design looks as a concept and then as the finished result. In this case, it’s an HD-themed design with WhiskeyFire HD paint on a Schuberth helmet. For FatBoy owner.

How do you like it?

Do you know what this is? This was my first airbrush compressor. I was 18 at the time, and my dad helped me build it. And you know what’s crazy? First - it still works today (18 years later). Second - it’s actually the best type of compressor for airbrushing. There really isn’t a better base for it.

Of course, there are a few mistakes - for example, it doesn’t have a pressure switch (I turn it on and off manually when it starts hissing), and there’s no drain valve on the tank. But there’s no better base for an airbrush compressor than a refrigerator compressor - quiet and lightweight.

Soon I’ll be building a new, more professional version of this type of compressor. If you’d like, I can share it here once it’s finished.

Here is a simple (or even i calling it simple) airbrush painting on jet open type moto helmet with Harley-Davidson design.

Do you like it? Would you ride wearing something like this? And would a helmet like this match your current motorcycle?
