Needing a more basic unit and I have a couple of these local for a good price. There's a sealed option of the essential for $50 and a Lite with sensors included for $90. I need them to be HomeKit compatible and I prefer to have an external sensor because wall temps can be a bit different from room temps
Been using an ultra basic thermostat for a few months and I got an second monitor to make sure it was accurate. It was accurate to the degree.
Fast-forward today and I installed a Google nest so I could do scheduling and see usage and notice that my AC was turning on much more than usual. Looked at my external monitor and it’s 4° off.
What’s happening here?
I sleep with my apartment on the warmer side (usually 74-75 degrees) and my light weight summer comforter is too hot. Has anyone used this as a solo quilt or is it too thin?

Can someone help me understand feedback and how I could possibly fix it through input levels or other simple fixes? I hear grounding is a common issue, but with active speakers in an amplifier usually don’t have to worry about grounding.
Both my turntable/Sonos five and SMSL/bookshelf speakers have terrible feedback when turned up to a reasonable level

As the title states, looking for beginner no drop rides. I've attended the Ponies skill clinic (offered once per month) and that was great, but I get dropped quickly by the larger group on regular days.
Don't know if the Lazy Ponies is still offered? Does Bread & Butter still do group rides around there?
I've live in a very mountainous region (Los Angeles) and nearly every ride is 1500+ elevation within 10-20 miles.
I've been riding for 4 years steadily and I'm still not close to being able to keep up on even casual group rides. I'd consider myself health and fit at 145 pounds at 5'7" and 33 years old.
I'm at the point where I can either train like hell or just get an e-bike. I already have an e-mtb and it totally solved that issue for me in the mountains.
My main purpose to ride with groups is socializing, and I just can't do that right now since I get dropped so early on.
Thoughts?
There's a like new second hand specialized Creo that's essentially the electrified variant of my acoustic bike. It's a good enough deal where I can probably ride it for a few months to try it out and if it doesn't work, sell it with minimal loss.

I’m a short king and a 8-9” inseam is perfect for me. Most bibs have a 10+ inch inseam which doesn’t grip where it needs to.
I’ve tried the Black bibs, Rapha, Pearl Izumi, and just about every other recommended brand but those haven’t fit just right. Heavy Pedal is near perfect but they are uncomfortable in the groin for me. The only ones I haven’t tried that I know of are Giordana but they don’t have cargo bibs with short inseams, just the standard
I am open to non-cargo bibs because it doesn’t seem like I have a choice
