Dr. Siri Holton for hysto?

I’m looking to get my hysterecomy and I’ve heard she works with transgender individuals. Wonder what peoples experience was like with her? Was the process easy? The whole getting insurance too approve it stresses me out. How soon were you able to schedule your surgery?

Under a tornado warning right now. Went outside too look at the sky and seen this. Not sure if it’s just the clouds, or a tornado starting to form.

I’m terrified I’ll never get the chance to be a husband or father.

I (26M) want nothing more than a family. I want a partner to grow with, a kid or two I can help guide and watch navigate through the work, a house that isn’t too small, or too big with nice sized backyard. But I’ve only ever been in one relationship in my life, which ended with him SA’ing me while I was shit faced drunk. I’ve always had issues with relationships, I’m a very avoidant guy. I started therapy 2 years ago to work through them. Eventually, I started dating this guy. It went great, until he SA’d me while I was shit face drunk. I feel like all that progress I made went backwards. I still can’t talk about what I went in therapy.
I’m a transgender man, and I feel like that keeps alot of people from wanting to be with me in a romantic sense. Men fetishize me, women see me as there guy bestfriend, and the ex who SA’d me was transgender as well.
I just don’t think it’ll ever happen for me. And I want nothing more in life to be a Dad.

I worked at Olive Garden for 10 years. AMA

For 10 years, I worked as a line cook at Olive Garden; 3 different states, 3 different stores. I've survived the chaotic dinner rushes, holidays, and incompetent managers and coworkers. Made more chicken alfredo and chicken parms anyone could count. And learned a lot of secrets and shortcuts.

I work in an acute psych ward. AMA

I started working in an acute psych ward a month ago, working directly with patients as a mental health tech. This specific ward is also known to be the worst in the entire state due to patients having horrible stays.

Injury getting worse after a day.

Yesterday, I was punched in the face by a patient. It was extremely unexpected, and I ended up falling back. My elbow caught most of the blow. It was sore at the time, but now a bruise is spreading, my shoulder hurts, and a bruise of a circle is going around my back. I do plan on going to urgent care shortly.

I called the workers comp line, awnsered some questions, and then was transfered to nurse triage line. They determined self-care instead of heading anywhere to get checked.

I obviously need to get this checked out, and am wondering where to start in furthering the process. Do I call the line back? What sort of documentation is needed?

Ice cream shops shouldn’t be offered on doordash.

I’m talking about specific shops that only offer ice cream, italian ice, etc. and no food items. What is the point of doordashing these items if they’re gonna arrive half melted?

Coping skills for mania?

Hey everyone,
I currently work as a tech in a psych hospital. There’s a patient whose been admited for severe mania. I’ve been diagnoised myself with bipolar2, but obviously cannot understand the full blown mania. Me & him walk and talk alot, which seems really helpful for him but I want him to have more coping skills for when he leaves. I suggested journaling, which he’s tried but said it can be to overwhelming. Are there any other coping skills I can suggest for him?

BCBS of TN but living in DE?

I just got a new job, and am getting insurance through my employer. I don't really understand why it's of TN when I live in a different state? Also, will they be in-network with anyone who takes BCBS? I have regular therapy appointments, and I know she takes BCBS but I cannot confirm this with her as she is out of town.

My uncle passed 10 years ago. He helped my parents raise me, was basically a 2nd father to me. Losing him was the hardest thing I’ve gone through, I miss him so much.
