There was a massive group of roadies riding along through the area on Saturday morning. I’m curious if anyone here was in one of the many waves of riders to pass through. I stood out in the yard on Ole Simpson and watched many nice bikes pass by. Im ride mountain bikes but usually solo. I’m curious as the route through the area. I know there is a bike route or two out this way but it seems like everyone was going in a different way. Anyways. Looked like everyone was having a good time. It was a nice morning for a ride

I’m curious if anyone in York County has had experience with an elderly family member that may be a harm to themselves and or others? Without divulging too much personal information plus and there may be a few here that know my families…

Anyways. I know I will need to get in touch with a lawyer about certain things. My main issue is this person needs to be evaluated but there is absolutely no way to get them to go to a doctor. I’m basically having to unfortunately wait til something happens to get them in Front of medical assistance. I dare not call the sherrif. But at the same time if they see said person irate then I may have a case.

My main issue is that their spouse died 6 months ago. They want to bury themselves in their family home and sulk their days away S they did when their parents passed. This person basically moved in on top of deceased relatives items. Not hoarder status by any means, very cluttered. But could easily sway that way. I worry how they push away all family members and friends. Some family members are choosing to stay out of it. My younger brother is “too busy.” This person drinks sun up to sun down, and always angry now, plus other lingering health issues.

Basically they are old, angry drunk, pushing people away, unmedicated bipolar, other… they could fall in the night, set the house on fire, slip in the shower, pass on and no one even know because they ran off friends and fam.

Years ago I used to contribute to the Microcassttor comps sending in random tv audio fragments. Getting back into it…I’m curious if there are any artists that use found sounds and or samples to make noise. I’m working on a project and didn’t want to spit out anything redundant. I’m curious what others are doing.

I have been collecting samples through various means over the years using but not limited to micro cassette, iPhone, Apple Watch, various handheld recording devices, mini disc… so I’m laying out tracks in a DAW also blending found cassettes from thrifting. I not looking to make a low key background noise album but not as loud as a full on wall of noise sound.

I quit. I’m out. I’m tired of trying only to be set back 5 steps after walking 2. About 3 years ago I was diagnosed with cirrhosis +ascities. My gf at the time slept with my friend that was also my bandmate, 2x. Plus a few other guys I’m sure. I was wrecked. It completely destroyed my definitions of love trust respect relationships. I moved from nc to Ohio to start a new chapter in my life only to proceed to step up my drinking to the point of almost killing myself from alcohol poisoning a few times.

Fast forward. After I was diagnosed and quit drinking cold turkey. I’ve got a handle on my health and my doctors are still amazed at my forward progressions.

That being said I have all my ducks in a row I’m attractive I guess? I had a lady recently jump in from of me in a bar and say I’m gorgeous but I think she was drunk. I look young for my age. Ive been told I look as young as late 30s. But usually early 50s.

Women that I feel like are too young for me will come up to talk to me or try to get my attention. I have an adult daughter that’s almost 30. If a lady is close to that age if have to shut her down. I put myself on dating apps. No response. I see ladies checking me out. I have a sense a style and even my daughter makes comment about it. In a good way haha.

I see women in public checking me out. I’m nice, cordial, chivalrous, polite, gentleman efforts, hold open doors… yet get ignored if I just say hello or say hey that’s a really cool pattern on that dress.

I recently crossed paths with a co worker that had a massive crush on me 20 years ago but I was in a toxic relationship and I don’t cheat. Ghosted me. A teenage gal pal that had a crush on me quit talking to me with no explanation. A lady ghosted me last year when I messaged her from the ER saying I had broken my hip while mountain biking. And another lady simply said I was too nice for a relationship. It’s not like I was showering her with too much attention. But I don’t think saying something like that “hope you’re having a good day” is too much

I see all these people in relationships and wonder what I’m doing wrong. What’s wrong with me. I’m tired of working towards something then have everything wiped away or ignored. Why do women have to make this hard? He I like you. Do you like me?____________ radio silence. Crickets. Static.

I was listening to Reynols. it got me thinking about noise artists that are physically impaired, have debilitating issues and make noise music. If you aren’t familiar with them, their frontman Miguel has Downs Syndrome. I’ve never seen this topic discussed and curious if there are any artists that make noise given their issues.

Early 50s here. I used to work with this lady about 20 years ago. We both got along well, made each other laugh and had huge crushes on each other. I couldn’t be in a relationship as I was already in a toxic one and tried to be respectful and make it work.

Anyways… life marches on and we fade out of each others lives. Situations have unfolded, we came back into each others lives and it seems like we are both in a place to actually try to make something happen

What I’m looking for: reliability, ease of use, not a piece of junk basically. I see Some units on eBay but I’m not really sure what sort of bells and whistles I can do without. I just want to be able to record short run albums to MD and it not be a headache

I think a woman has become quite fond of me to the point of being obsessive. Some strange things have been happening and I’ve Never had to deal with anything like this and I’m curious as to what others have experienced.

Anyone else here would have liked to have seen SY venture into realms like this more often? Macbeth is high on my list as one of their best songs.
