Ok so I’m doing a reread of CC2 and I just got to this point and am wondering if anyone has any theories on this:

Aidas didn’t take his eyes off Bryce as he said, “It is the same war we fought fifteen thousand years ago, only renewed. The same war you fought, Hunt Athalar, in a different form. But the time is ripe again to make a push.”

What the heck does the cat mean, “the same war you fought, Hunt Athalar, in a different form.” He’s talking about the war 15,000 years ago. Not the one 200 years ago with Shahar.

We know a few things:
- Hunt was sired/engineered by Apollyon and Thanatos
- Aidas said Jessiba “Knew the male best” when talking about Hunt’s father… which is super weird if he’s talking about his own brother Apollyon who assaulted Jessiba and then never saw her again
- We also are told later that the “cat” in this scene isn’t Aidas but Rigelus disguised as Aidas. Which is a whole other mind trip because of what the cat tells them about Theia, Helena, and Pelias, not to mention the info about Sophie and Cormac.

But back to my original wtf moment… what could it mean that Hunt fought 15k years ago in another form?! What other form?! On which side?! Is Hunt more than just a spawn of Hel? Or is he a Prince of Hel himself who somehow reincarnated himself into the new form of Orion the Fallen Angel??

I have sooo many more questions now!

Has anyone found a good replacement for the NotYourMothers Blue Sea Kale shampoo and conditioner?

It was my perfect hair care set for 5 years and now it’s gone and my hair is so sad.

I’ve tried the Maui Hibiscus set and it’s ok but I hate the smell of it (it smells like cough syrup to me).

I’ve also recently tried the Native Lavender Cloud scalp detox and scalp refreshing set but it’s dried out my hair so bad. Which sucks because it smells amazing.

I’ve tried a few of the other NYM sets but they’re all too heavy for my hair.

So I’m here hoping against hope that one of you wonderful folks might have found the perfect dupe for NYM Natural Blue Sea Kale.

So I’m listening through CC again for the upteenth time and I just got through Bryce and Hunt’s first kiss.

The first few times I read or heard this I just took it as sweet romance words. But with what we know now… this is possibly just a literal description of what happened.

I took my third pill of 1.5 this morning.

So far the side effects have been fairly mild.

Day 1: A “white noise” type headache all the first day along with some moderate brain fog. Burping, but no smell or flavor. Constipation, but could be from other causes. Gassy with flatulence. Not hungry, don’t even want to snack.

Day 2: no headache (yay!) but still some brain fog and difficulty concentrating. Same burping. Same constipation. Same flatulence. Same low hunger levels.

Day 3: my throat is on FIRE. Still got some mild burps. Still same mild constipation & flatulence. Same low hunger levels. But omg my throat! 😭🔥

Today, day 3, was the first time I’ve taken a sip of water, then tossed the pill in, and swallowed it that way. Helped a ton with the horrible taste. But could the burning throat be related to this?

I did have some fries yesterday so maybe it’s also from the fried food?

Even drinking water hurts which totally sucks.

Any suggestions for relief are greatly appreciated. Thanks 💕

Update: definitely caught some germs. Fever, body aches, cough, and overall ick have now joined the party. Going to take a few days break to get some relief from the acid reflux (and maybe let my bowels clear out) and then start again as soon as the germs are gone.

Also wondering if the brain fog from the first two days was a side effect of my Zoloft being absorbed more slowly because of the stomach slowdown caused by the Wegovy. It could make sense for those to be connected.

Hi! I hoping you wonderful mod folks can help me.

I’m looking for a mod that when I hover over an ore, the tooltip will display how many ores are in the vein.

I’ve tried a few VeinMiner mods and I love that they’ll tell me how many ores there are, but I don’t like actually mining the vein in one click. I have a bad tendency to destroy worlds when I have access to VeinMiner powers, lol.

So is there a mod out there that would give me the tooltip information without also giving me the “mine the whole vein in one go” powers?

Is there a way to turn off or smooth out the camera shake when going up or down stairs?

View bobbing is OFF and it doesn’t seem to help with the stairs issue.

Vanilla Java options are best but I’m open to mods too if it’ll help.

...and I think this Micah guy is going to be her mate. Like Bryce was super attracted to him and then Hunt kind of masked it? I feel like Hunt is the >!Chaol/Tamlin!< of this book and Micah is the actual guy.

Cuz like he's at the very top of the whole system, antagonized at first like Rhysand was, he ignored Bryce in their first meeting and was super nonchalant and then when he threatened Hunt to not touch Bryce THAT HAD ME SWOONING.

Especially now that we know that the angel Bryce had saved was Micah! I'm literally giggling and kicking my feet. I went back to re-read the scene and he's so calm and patient with her, all brushing her knee and trying to comfort her WHEN HIS OWN CHEST HAS BEEN CLEAVED OPEN.

Sooo rooting for them AHHHH

And Micah isn't showing up again and I want him to so bad. My heart flutters a bit everytime he's mentioned. When will he come up again I'm on the part where Hunt and Bryce are going to question Sabine

Also I wanna live in Lunathion. How am I already so attached to this city and sooo many characters? Like for other fantasy series, it takes me till book 2 or 3 to give a damn about the characters but SJM's characters are something else.

And I love Lehabah, her and Bryce give such Marinette and Tiki vibes but make it 18+

And Bryce's workplace is so cool. I also really like Jesiba. She gives such reluctant guardian vibes. Her and Bryce should cuddle.

I really like Hunt I don't want anything to happen to him. He should cuddle Micah. Or Ruhn maybe.

My husband and I are looking to buy a whole new bed set soon and I was hoping you all could share some brand recommendations.

Almost 2 years ago our home was hit by a hurricane and a tree went through our Sleep Number M7 that we’d had for 10 years. We’ve been sleeping on a rental mattress that we added a memory foam topper to for the last 14 months. But our house is almost repaired and we’ll get to go home soon!!

So we’re shopping for a bed.

Our big wants are:
- split king adjustable base
- memory foam or similar
- cooling or temperature balancing
- a friendly price tag
