What are these tiny translucent moving things? Baby snails or a pest? (Not the springtails)

Also there’s some mold from a tiny piece of cucumber because I also have snails in this terrarium (moving them to a larger one soon), any idea what those TINY things are? Baby snails or some kind of mite/other pest?

Found snails in parsley, put them in my terrarium for now

Hi all! I found these cute snails in parsley so I put them in my terrarium bc otherwise they’d go to the trash sadly

I put some of the parsley they came with. I know they’ll eat all the plants, but I don’t mind. How do I go about making their setup curated for them? I’m guessing I should start with a bigger terrarium? Or are they actually ok in a jar terrarium in the meantime? I know snails breed a lot so there’s that to consider.

I’m keeping it open so it’s aired and not enclosed like my other terrariums. I’ll start researching them but thought id also post for some advice, according to INaturalist those ones are “Suborder Helicina” but I think they might be a specific kind, if anyone knows? I’m not too good with the scientific terminologies at the moment

Also I’m used to people occasionally being rude and attacking instantly so please only comment if you’re going to offer advice without calling names or claiming animal abuse with nothing else 😭 I am here because I care for them and love snails, not because i want to hurt them.

What are those little raised brown dots of mold? On the wooden lid of my terrarium

This is a wooden lid covering the terrarium in the pics, the little brown raised dots look like miniature mushrooms almost.

Curious to know what kind of mold that is

Urgently need a foster for this mama and her two newborns!!

Hi all, I’m currently fostering a mama cat and her babies and so I cannot take this other mama cat in sadly.

Shes one of many cases that need a foster, and I’ve been trying to find one but nobody ever reaches out to help.

Please, any help would be appreciated!! Another mama cat already lost 4 of her newborns. It’s getting super hot outside and the conditions are not suitable at all on the streets.

Please help even by boosting the post or sharing with people who might be able to support!!

Powerfully nursing

Mama Elise has 3 kittens and the orange-white one is the loudest, most dramatic, and most powerful when nursing even. He’s hilarious to watch!

First isopod enclosure, need advice with pests

So I got my isopods from a bunch of leaf litter outside. However, some stray ants and TERMITES came alongside them😭it’s mostly isopods and I added springtails, will the few ants and termites die off or kill my isopod colony??? I hate termites so much

This is Elise, shes a mama cat and I’m fostering her and her 3 newborns.

She has black ear tips, initially I thought it was dirt but it doesn’t come off. I found it interesting that it’s on both ears.

Also I noticed she has some hair loss on her body and tail, likely from pregnancy hormones and/or stress. I’m so happy she’s safe now.

I took the plant out of its pot and the spider got out of the soil, onto the plant, then to my desk and used its web to try going down.

I was letting it be, but worried it might be a pest kind of spider and killed it because I couldn’t identify the kind in time :,)

I normally don’t kill spiders or bugs in general, but I panicked a little.

What spider is this?

She was rescued by a rescuer I know after being found with a really bad mouth injury, and she’s now recovered.

Her tongue often goes sideways because of her old injury. She’s sometimes referred to as “Froggie”.

She’s super cute and so I decided to share her on here!

Hey y’all I re-did the terrarium after getting advice from some people and a resident in my area too who also makes terrariums

I got a different drainage layer

For the soil I used some planting soil and mixed with a tiny bit of dirt from outside, some rehydrated sphagnum moss, and little bits of natural charcoal

Added a few stones and a piece of wood from outside and put in the Fittonia

It’s definitely much better than the first try, I’m not sure what to do from here. Do I let it be? Should I put in some springtails or not?

I was searching for moss but could only find dried sphagnum moss

I’ve been watching terrarium videos and getting interested in it for months now, I decided it’s time to give it a try but I added too much dirt and couldn’t find moss or suitable plants (I live in the UAE)

I added tiny stones, natural charcoal, small mesh thing, then the dirt and wood from outside and more stones

There are isopods too, I added too much dirt trying to get them in without directly touching/hurting them

How do u go about this? It’s a pretty bad start lol
