Edit: For clarification sinse some of you are making it weird- we're straight i love the guy because hes a good friend i thought that was obvious😭
The use of ai in advertising shouldn't be normalized
Lately any ad I see is made with ai and I absolutely hate it. At least to me, when I see ai used in an ad, it makes the thing advertised look unreliable and cheap. It imidietly makes me not want to hear anything let alone get the product being advertised.
What really pisses me off is that its always big companies that have every ability to make a real ad, to pay actors or an animator to create something for them. But instead, they rather use ai slop just to save some money that wouldnt even had any effect on them since theyre worth millions.
It also disrespecting us as potential costumers since theyre sure they can throw a no effort ai slop clip and we would keep buying from them making them only richer
whats an experience from growing up as "the fat kid" thats still stuck with you?

For me theres a lot. But 1 that I often think about is the time I went to a classmates birthday party when I was 11. I was having a good time walking around and I walked passed this elderly lady that looked to be in her late 50s. She said "come here girl". I was confused she said that about me. I told her im not a girl. She said "no youre a girl". Confused i told her that I am not. Then this younger guy looked mid 20s come up to her (possibly her nephew or son) and she asked him "look shes a girl right" he was confused and said "thats a boy" and then she asked "then why does he have boobs?" With the most disgusting smirk. Like she was telling a peak joke and was proud of herself. I just walked away embarrassed.
Im turning 20 in January and to this day I often think about that
Actual hot takes here aren't accepted well
So ive been reading many posts here for quite a while now and ive noticed a pattern. Any time someone posts an actual hot take and not some performative "hot take" that isnt even a hot take. People would just give them 100 down votes and lash out on them, criticizing them for what they said.
Mybe im missing something but I thought the whole point of this is that people would say their hot takes which they cant normally say out loud and discuss it with us
I think tiktok can somehow read thoughts
So I dont know if im the only one this happens to. But the past few months ive been noticing something strange. I would scroll on tiktok, would think of the most random unrelated thing. And next thing I know is I see a video about the exact same thing. Its gotten to very specific details its getting strange. It doesnt seem to be related to things like my search history because I swear I never look up those things.
Let me know if any of you had a similar experience
Clothing brands are fatphobic
I was looking back to my experience as someone who was "the fat kid" from elementary to the beginning of high school and I started looking back on some of the very overlooked problems about today's clothing brands. So I thought id share those with you all.
Like anyone who ever dealt with being overweight would tell you. Shopping for clothes was hell. I remember as a kid I would more often then not have to buy boring adult clothes instead of the cool ones for kids. mind you I want even that overweight. kids clothes only had about 3 sized that were made just for very skinny kids.
When I was in 7th grade I wanted to buy some new school shirts. But that specific brand did something weird with their sizes. For example they would have a xl thats actually a medium. So I ended up needing to buy a much bigger size from my usal clothes and i felt so humiliated. Not only that bc what I got was considered "adult sized" they only had black and white shirts. So throughout the year I only wore black and white while my friends had cool colored clothing.
Another thing worth mentioning is the absolute horror show that goes in plus size clothes. Ive noticed clothing brands often on purpose make very ugly clothes that are plus size. You know what I mean tacky patterns, cringe prints. I just know the brands are doing this to humiliate people. Because they know how hard it is to find bigger sizes and know more often then not the person would have to wear whatever ugly thing theyre selling so they'll have what to wear.
Today im in a much better place physically. I lost almost 30kg and im feeling much better. But even now. When I go buying for clothes (im a XL) more often then not even that size is either very short stocked or doesnt even exist. Cant even talk about 2xl which i prefer bc i like a little oversize since they dont even make those.
Anyways thats all. Let me know if any if you have experienced something similar or have a story to share. Thanks for reading my post:)
A book I had doubled itself
So A book I have doubled itself
in 6th grade I got diary of a wimpy kid. It was in a pretty rough shape with some rips, stains and tape around it to sorta hold it from falling apart. After the school year ended I realized I forgot to return it. My elementary closed down after I finished 6th grade so I couldn't return it. So I just held on to it. Around 2 years later while cleaning up my bookshelf I found that book, and another book. An exact copy. It was the same story, same color, same rips stains and tape. I did not get more then 1 book so I have no idea where it came from. Im 19 now and those books are still somewhere in my house
Is little hope worth it?
So I alredy played house of ashes and other supermassive games like until dawn and the quarry and I enjoyed them. I saw little hope is on sale rn for around 10 dollars and I was considering buying it

Ive seen a lot of mixed reviews about this game so I wanted to know if its worth buying
This is the scariest nightmare I ever had
So around a year ago I had what undoubtedly was the scariest nightmare I ever had
(Sorry guys I wanted to draw but life's pretty busy right now so might add a drawing later)

So a year ago I was heading towards something very big. I wont say what it is for personal reasons but id just say it made me very anxious and scared of whats coming. So I think thats what triggered this nightmare.

The nightmare started when I was on this high platform in the middle of something I can best describe as an endless dark room. I looked off the platform and saw probably the scariest thing my brain ever made up. An endless wall made of human legs. U could tell it was probably thousands of different people because they all had different pants and shoes.

I walked off the platform (idk why)
And instead of falling i was floating and slowly being sucked in by the wall. I remember that sinister feeling where I was paralyzed and just being slowly consumed by the wall. When I reached the wall a opening started forming between all of the pairs of legs and u could see red firey lights which at the dream were obviously the flames of hell.

I was slowly pulled into the opening and I remember seeing a huge blast of the color red then just nothing. Pure white no shapes no nothing. All of my fear was switched into this almost euphoric calmness. Everything suddenly felt so peaceful.

When I woke up I thought I died and this was all some light at the end of the tunnel or sum😭

Anyways I added an image to try to describe how it looked but trust me it was a thousand times scarier in the dream

Are there any signs to know cannibals are close?
So I just bought the game yesterday they scare me sm😭
I play a lot of horror games but for sum reason they just terrify me
Are there any ways to know if theyre close or some effective ways as a beginner to protect myself?
Blu should've been behind the events of hated in the nation
So I just watched hated in the nation and at the end I was a little disappointed. Sure the episode was great but I feel like it would've been much more interesting if blu who we were introduced to at the opening being behind it all along.
I truly belived shes behind it because there were so many clues pointing towards it
*She was deeply traumatized from seeing the horrible things people did online so she had a reason to go after those who cause harm to others
*when she talked to the detective she told her that because she quit her old job and started this job because she wanted to be more helpful in the real world and not online. Id call what the bees were doing pretty helpful to the casue
*she was underestimated- after she told the detective she belives she can make a difference the detective said "god you're young". She was underestimated as the hard working new naive girl
She had some questionable knowledge- throughout the episode we see her often doing things in her computer that seemed to stun the others by how much knowledge they take to know. Knowledge that could include taking over the bees
When that girl they took to the safe house got attacked she seemed pretty relaxed. Almost as if she knew the bees are only after that girl
Anyways I think thats all I noticed
Let me know if any of you noticed more stuff or agree with this
Selective empathy isnt empathy
In the last few years on social media I noticed a very disturbing thing. Ppl would claim theyre good ppl and care abt others when in reality they only care about some. Not only that but they celebrate tragedies that happen to other ppl simply bc they have different views then them. u cant claim to care about the world where u literally wish death upon others for simply not agreeing with them. This could be bc they have a different political view, are from a country u dont like or simply for being from a different religion. Im tired of every1 trying to find sick and twisted ways to justify that. Nobody deserves horrible things to come their way whether u agree with their lifestyle or not
