I’ve only gone out ~75’ deep near sail and seal; I’ll do some research tonight too.

Long story short, to save on memory, I only push record when I get a fish on the line. I have the little insta360 remote that I use on the selfie stick, but it’s Bluetooth and won’t wake the camera up after it shuts down.

I use the phone app, but it can take like a minute before I can control the camera; I’ve lost many fish (more importantly, I’ve missed footage) fiddling with the app

I think my best bet is to tie the camera to an external battery and simply turn the auto-off feature off; I’m worried about water entering the charging port.

Any thoughts?
