Looking for a light comforter or blankets. The weight of my blankets cause me pain.

I'm in Canada and it will be cold soon. Whenever I try to use blankets the weight of the blanket on my toes and knees cause me pain. I read suggestions about using pillows to keep the blankets off your body. But I have a twin bed and already sleep with my joints propped upon pillows and I don't have room for more pillows. I also have neuropathy so I like cotton and non pilling fibers

Is there such thing as paint by number with bold outlines and bigger numbers? I'm finding the numbers very hard to see. Visual disability.

I have tried a light board and different lighting. But I can't seem to find a way to make the numbers easier to see. I was wondering if there was like a brand or a store or anything that had easier to see paint by numbers? I'm doing a Michael's one right now. The brand is artist loft. I wouldn't even mind doing a children's one if they had easier to see outlines and numbers.

I'm looking for low stakes, cozy books with main female characters.

I don't want to read about dystopian society or having to overthrow the government and the like. I don't want to read crime novels or anything scary. I want cozy and low stakes. Bonus points, if it has little to no romance (but I can always just skip those pages).

I liked: A fellowship of bakers and magic by J Penner and Witch's guide to magical Innkeeping by Dangu Mandanna.

Do you roll once you finish a section or just the roll the whole thing at the end? Will a rolling pin work?

How and when are people rolling? Looking to see if I can use a rolling pin to keep costs down or if I should just buy the tool. Or maybe just put a heavy book on it?

Cat My cat (18) can't groom himself properly and has belly mats. He hates being brushed. Suggestions?

I tried to cut the mats but he moves too much and they are to close to his skin. Plus, I can't get him to lay on his side. He's 18.

I can't afford grooming and he can't be sedated due to heart issues.

Shoes? All the running shoes now have huge foam bottoms that cause me pain. What are we all wearing for shoes now?

The foam is to soft and causes me pain and I have a balance disorder so I find wearing running shoes now I can't feel the ground and I'm tripping and stumbling. I haven't bought new shoes in years, so the high foams were just becoming a thing last time I purchased regular/not high foam running shoes.

I tried hoka Clifton 10- very soft, comfortable and very foamy couldn't feel the ground and tripped /stumbled a lot

Brooks ghost - could feel the ground butntinwas like walking on concrete and so hard and uncomfortable.

Random other shoes and brands, under Armour (stumbling), new balance (stumbling),......

Currently, I can wear Sandles and rubber boots without foot pain or falling.

Looking for an everyday shoe option?

One friend suggested clogs and European only shoes? Like shoes made in Italy, France,.... I'm in Canada.

Has anyone done the iodine radiation treatment for their cat's hypothyroidism at St. Joe's?

I just worry about how good it will go and about how nice they will treat my cat based on the whole beagle testing they did and stuff.
