Experiencing chest burning, stomach burning, excessive body heat, UTI symptoms, and throat irritation

. I've been chanting the Narasimha mantra and Hare Krishna Mahamantra since 2023. In the evening, I recite Vishnu Sahasranama, one Ugram Viram mantra, one to two or three malas of Om Namo Bhagavate Narasimhaya, and three recitations of Narasimha Kavacham daily. Apart from this, I also mentally chant the Hare Krishna Mahamantra throughout the day( Though I Should increase mahamantra) .

I've also reduced my intake of junk food and chai. I don't even feel like having chai anymore, but I'm still unsure about whether I should completely stop drinking it. I also have a small Narasimha Lakshmi murti with me.

Right now, however, I'm experiencing a lot of burning and excessive heat. I've incorporated buttermilk, gond katira, curd rice, and coriander water into my diet to help cool my body down. However, even mildly spicy sabzi seems to increase the burning sensation and body heat, and I'm unable to tolerate it. My body seems to tolerate only very light food.

I've also developed different types of skin issues since 2023. They heal, but then a different skin problem appears again. I had recovered last year, but the skin issues have returned again. I'm wondering if this could be due to an increase in pitta. I ahve a small murti of Laxmi Narasimha ji What else can I do to cool my body down and reduce this burning sensation?

I have a high pitta. How should I take triphala?

I have developed acne and redness, which may be due to inflammation. I also experience acid reflux, chest burning, and high body heat, and I cannot tolerate heat well. I am thinking of soaking Triphala in an earthen pot and drinking it with ghee after warming it slightly. Is this correct? Someone mentioned that one should strain

Again got skin issues - sebderm. But this time it's not improving

I had this problem last year. I didn't k kw abkut sebderm back then. So while searching through reddit. One day, I tried applying Head & Shoulders shampoo to my face, and immediately after using it, all the dryness disappeared for the entire day.

After that I bought some vitamins and a pharamcy shampoo., I started using a ketoconazole + zinc pyrithione shampoo on my face. I also started taking some vitamins. I think from the next day, I took vitamin B12 in the morning, a zinc tablet in the afternoon, vitamin E and vitamin C during the day, and vitamin D3 with calcium at night.

I continued this routine for about two to three weeks, and my skin cleared up completely and became very shiny too.

However, after almost a year. the problem returned. I started using the ketoconazole + zinc pyrithione shampoo again, but this time it isn't helping. I haven't started taking those vitamins again yet. I don't knkw what could be the reason. It's very itchy and redness pimple dry flaky skin

Is there any significance to celebrating birthday according to our Vedic tithi? Has anyone here celebrated their birthday according to their tithi?

This year, I won't be able to celebrate my birthday because I'll be fasting, so I was thinking of celebrating it on my Vedic tithi instead. I actually had the same thought last year. There's about a one-week gap between my birthday on the Gregorian calendar and my Vedic tithi birthday.

What do you all think?

Castor oil and SebDerm

Bro, last year I used to apply a thick layer of castor oil on my face every night and leave it on overnight. Then I developed seborrheic dermatitis on my face that lasted for almost a year. Nothing worked, but when I used anti-dandruff shampoo, it improved a lot in just one day. I also stopped using castor oil, but I never realized that it might have been the actual reason. I kept blaming my chai addiction instead.

Now, after a whole year, I did the exact same thing again. I applied castor oil on my face and left it on overnight, and for the last two days I've developed the same condition. I was once again blaming chai and thinking it might be because of acid reflux, but then it hit me that this looks exactly like what happened last year. Redness, pimples, and dryness on my face. I've applied anti-dandruff shampoo now. Let's see what happens. 😭 How was your experience with castor oil????

Difficulty in letting go. All or nothing mindset in everything.I easily get offended and can't tolerate disrespect.

Though the things on which I get offended, I would never say that to anyone. Like since childhood people say many things then they say you are very sensitive, cry easily and have mnormalised insensitive behaviour. And all my childhood I have supressed those things and obviously they ahve affected me. But Now since moon mahadasha, I don't tolerate these bs. And I call out though I am in spiritual practices, sahma but still it is very difficult to me to let go. I don't like this feeling at all.

Dhyaan on ancient Vigrah or paintings?

I have a question about bhagwan Krishna dhyan.

Should I do dhyan on an ancient Vigraha, such as the Radha Raman Vigraha, or are ordinary paintings and pictures of Krishna also suitable for dhyan?

The reason I ask is that I do not always feel much bhava while doing dhyan on a Vigraha. Sometimes I feel more connected when I do dhyan on Krishna in a human form. At times, I naturally visualize Him according to my understanding of His form and imagine his lilas, and that often brings more bhava.

I also have a Vigraha of Kanha. Sometimes, while doing dhyan, I imagine Him in a human form with exactly the same features as that Vigraha. According to Shastra, is it acceptable to do dhyan in this way, or should one focus only on a traditional Vigraha or picture of Krishna?

Is it Shree Narasimha Jay Jay Narsimha or Shree Narasimha Jay Naṛsiṁha Jay Jay Narsimha?

In the ISKCON kirtan, I hear 'Śrī Narasiṁha, Jay Narasiṁha, Jay Jay Narasiṁha.' But I was watching astrologer Sunil John, and he said that in a South Indian scripture it is written as 'Śrī Narasiṁha, Jay Jay Narasiṁha.' He suggested chanting it that way. Now I'm a bit confused. I know both are fine, but which version is traditionally chanted? Could someone clarify?"

If I have 3–4 planets in Cancer, should I also consider Jupiter's transit through Cancer (or any transit through Cancer), apart from analyzing transits from my Ascendant and Moon sign?

Thanks 😊
