Sydney Sweeney Isn't That Hot

She's attractive. But people are absolutely obsessed with this woman, to the extent that she has ridden this hype to A-list, household name status. But she is simply not that attractive.

I think it's just the boobs. They're big and she shows them a lot. Multiple movies with topless scenes, and she's always showing them off in outfits with low cut, pushup, side boob, etc... If you gave her average boobs, she'd be an average woman, and you probably wouldn't even know her name.

No hate on Sydney. She's pretty and seems like a cool person. I just don't think she's the 12/10 meta human goddess that everybody is acting like she is.

Any Updates?

Peter's been silent for months now, and I haven't seen any updates, articles, stories, videos, or really anything else covering the current state of the Podcast, Peter's practice, etc....

Anybody know what's going on?

Not looking for speculation, gossip, or JE drama. Just wondering if there are any tangible updates about what's happening with The Drive.

Apps not fully closing on iphone

I have the iphone 17. When I try to close certain apps, I still get alert noises from them as if they are running in the background. And if I open them back up, my session is still active as if I never closed the app.

Here's how I'm closing them: I swipe half way up until the app switcher shows up. then I swipe the app all the way up and off the screen. Should be fully closed, and yet I still get the alert sounds, and if I reopen the app, it's as if it never closed. I'm still signed in. It's still an active session, etc...

Is there a way to fully close or force quit apps so that they are not running in the background?

"this"

There is no lazier, more unnecessary, more pointless reply to a comment than saying "this." How is that honestly the only response you can eke out to something that resonates with you? Even an applause emoji would be more meaningful and specific.

It's not even cave man speak. At least a cave man would say "this good," which is twice as much effort and meaning as you attempted.

If you like something but are unwilling or unable to formulate an intelligible reply, there's a handy little button for that shaped like an up arrow. Give it a whirl.

Typically during lunch hours I get a few offers per minute. Last couple days though, I'll only get a single offer every few minutes.

Today, for instance, in my usual spot during prime lunch hour, over the course of 30 minutes I only got 6 offers. And three of them were just Trip Radar.

Have the quests officially killed cherry picking? Hell, have the quests killed non-quest driving?

Based on compatibilist's definition and description of "free will," it seems to me that animals (or at least many animals,) meet the criteria. What say you, compatibilists? Do animals enjoy the same degree of free will as humans? Is there a demarcation point on the intelligence spectrum at which smarter animals (dolphins, chimpanzees, dogs) do have free will, but less intelligent animals driven almost largely or entirely by instinct and mindless neurological stimuli (goldfish, starfish, earthworms) do not?

What about computers or even AI? Seems like computers meet most, if not all of your defining criteria for "free will." They take in inputs from their environment, and modulate & manipulate them into various outputs/actions/behaviors that can be said to have been "caused" by the computer's internal programming and processes. And any given algorithm can even be entirely unpredictable, especially if you throw in some randomization code. Is this free will? If not, why? What important parts of compatibilist's definition of free will are not achieved by computers or AI?
