Strugglingggg with the duck and the lion.

For the lion I've been trying: C0R0 Odette (jade cutter), C0R1 Esco (GT), C1R2 Miko (Disenchantment), C0R0 Sandrone (Verdict). I do have Qiqi at level 70. Wriothesley and Cyno are both C1R1.

For the duck I have: C0R0 Ineffa (SoSS), C0R0 Bina (fav codex), C6R2 Sucrose (evenstar), C0R1 Flins.

Rotation issues maybe. Going to try and see if Wrio can do it but idk.

Unsure how to handle student loans

Hi all, I'm at a crossroads regarding the best way to handle my student loans for the next year.

About me: 26F, biotech scientist, $102k/yr with 10% bonus + yearly COL adjustments. No major bills and I can comfortably make my payments while contributing to retirement and saving.

The loans: $59k, individual loans between 2-6.5% interest. Biggest loan is $20k at 6.5%, rest are under $8k. Currently paying $880/mo.

The dilemma: I am currently in the midst of applying to medical school, which makes me wonder if paying my current loans is even worth it at all. I know that I will most likely have to take out a significant amount of both federal and private loans out for med school, which will continue to accrue interest along with my current loans while I am in school. My original plan when I went into repayment (at the time med school was not on my radar at all) was to use my bonuses to pay off significant chunks of these loans while continuing my monthly payments, which are well above the minimum, since my industry is not very stable.

My question is, would it make more sense to save my bonuses and/or lower my monthly payment so that I have more savings for school? I am (of course) worried about not having an income for 4 years, and I know that with a physician salary the loans will be paid off eventually regardless of what I choose to do here, but it is still a gamble and the number bothers me. Happy to answer any other questions and I welcome your advice.

Crazy interview question: how would you answer?

I saw someone on Tiktok say that during his interview, he was asked this:

What is something you don't want us on the adcom knowing about you, and that you feel would hurt your chances of admission if we did know?

I think this is an insane question to ask, but also very interesting at the same time from an interviewer's perspective. I'm curious to hear how others would handle this.

Algorithm messed up after new update?

Is anyone else's fyp algorithm showing them completely random content today? Had to hit not interested on like 15 different tweets about Russian politics. I'm getting a bunch of verified accounts posting strange videos and content I have absolutely never interacted with. This has happened to me in the past but today the posts I'm being shown are just on another level.

Advice on roommate vs. no roommate situation

Hi all, my roommate is moving out of our 2b1ba in August, and I'm weighing the pros and cons on whether to find a roommate to fill her room or just eat the cost. The breakdown of everything is below.

The apartment: $3200/mo, with about $200-250/mo in utilities.

The financials: I make $102k and may get a raise later in the year. I have $900/mo in student loans I pay. I am also applying to medical school currently.

Why I want to live alone:
-No random roommates at my age (27)
-peace and quiet

Why I want to find a roommate:
-SIGNIFICANTLY decreases my short-term financial burden
-I have expensive hobbies that I don't really want to compromise on

I've never lived alone. I'm wondering if it's worth the financial burden for <1yr, as I would probably move in May/June for school if I get in. Thoughts and advice appreciated.

Constantly hungry after decreasing dosage

Hi everyone! I went back down to 27mg around one week ago from one month of taking 36mg. The past few days, I've been constantly SO HUNGRY, and nothing will touch it. Eating regular scheduled meals is one of my biggest difficulties, so I know I can be better on that front, but even after what would be a filling meal I'm still hungry. Has anyone else experienced this after dropping dosage? It's actually irritating.

Having trouble understanding how to hem sleeve

Hi everyone! I'm not exactly sure how to finish this sleeve cuff as per instruction 15. I've basted the 1.5in hem. Is the next step to fold over the edge and slip stitch for an invisible hem? Or what hand stitch is this supposed to represent if not slip stitch? Apologies if this is obvious/trivial--I'm pretty new to sewing and I'm not very good at reading patterns for any craft I do. Thanks!!
