Callback to this mace I made roughly 3 years ago

I made it with a hollowed log I found and a thick branch, pushed the branch through the hole, hammered it in snug then hammered in smaller sticks and twigs to make sure it was secured.

It was 4.5 feet and roughly 17 pounds, the handle section was about 3 feet. It was so fun to train with and swing.

Unfortunately I spotted some white mold inside the log and had to toss the whole thing, that was about 4 months ago and I miss it every day. I hope to make something similar soon.

Take the leap and buzz? Context in description

I have roughly waist length hair, I love it to pieces. I have depression that's been passed through my family for generations, growing this hair has been one of the few things keeping me around because I've always had the goal of reaching mid-thigh length. It's been with me through thick and thin.

I struggle with keeping it brushed and cleaned, it sucks up so much of my energy and I hate the feeling of wet hair but because of my love for it I'm scared of ANY heat even if I know it's safe in moderation, I do get help with it from my boyfriend and it makes it a lot easier but it's still a struggle.

Now to the point of the post, do I get a buzz cut? Not super super short but like a 3 or 4 guard. With this buzz I wouldn't have to fight myself to get into the shower and deal with wet hair, I could keep myself cleaned more often I feel like.

I'm just scared of regretting it, it's been on my mind for weeks but I just can't make any decisions, I really am scared of losing this hair I love but it's just too much work for what my mental load can handle.

Help appreciated.

Face shape for mutton chops and the mustache?

I'm just a young lad of 17 and these pictures don't show the full thickness of my facial hair so be merciful please, but do I have the face shape to pull off the mutton chops and moustache combo?

Currently I'm at a thickness where it isn't awful looking I'd say, a few friends of mine have said I can pull it off but I thought I'd get an opinion from the fellas with beard experience!

Long oval head shape fear!!

A man at my local practice was selling some helmets, he's a large headed fellow like me however you could see that on him. His head is wide, I look pretty small headed but I also have a large head so I was hopeful of his helms fitting me.

He let me try them on and they felt wayyyy too small despite us both having a 25.5" head, turns out my head is actually a long oval shape! I hadn't realized just how deep my head was front to back, I may already have a vast head of 25.5 inches but now I'm scared of a helmet I'm buying not fitting my oval shaped head.

Head shape isn't an option on the page I'm buying from but the armorer has a large team that makes stuff constantly so I'm probably getting something off the shelf, is this a reasonable concern?

Half Visor?

From Yurimedievalbrasil on YouTube and Instagram, I quite like this helmet and when I asked him about it he said it's a German 1380 Half Visor.

When I go looking for it nothing comes up, can someone point me towards someone who makes these? Or at least towards art that has this like the one above Yuri's head?

Gambeson I got second-hand from a buddy! (Epic Armory)

He couldn't find the sleeves so those are lost to time. However epic armory sells the sleeves separate so that's not an issue.

It fits like a glove and will look nice with my kit.

I asked cruciform or rondel, I finally got around to making a rondel dagger.

I will do a cloth handle wrap sometime but I had to make it to practice. It'll be a backup to my polehammer which I also made a post for.

Also met a guy at the practice who recognized me from my greatsword post, hello again if you see me here, you might remember this dagger :))
