After getting laid off last Aug, I pushed on w my bday trip celebration. Mas mapapamahal ako pag cinancel ko pa yung flight at nakabook na hotel, etc. I was very anxious and tired but decided not to dwell so much doon. Dumagdag pa yung pagpass ng childhood dog ko while I was on my bday trip. I believed na may better pang magoopen na opportunities, and ito na nga yon.

Thanks to my connections, nagrefer din sila. Here we are. Isa rin sana sa good opportunity ko yung pinagaapplyan kong Aus company but mas nauna na tong sa US. Thankful to my partner, family, friends and colleagues who supported me whilst I was unemployed 🎉 thankful din ako sa mga words of comfort from strangers on here. Adjusting pa ako sa time diff but all of this will be worth it, kayod uli!

After I got laid off, I stayed muna with my family sa house namin. Been applying here and there and I have had interviews and ex colleagues reaching out to me for possible opportunities, which I greatly appreciate.

Coming back here sa place ko reminds me of how far I've come, and this is just a hurdle I will overcome din. Good thing I have emergency funds naman. Tomorrow, I'll be traveling abroad for my birthday trip (that I can't cancel kasi q2 ko pa nabook and hassle pa iparebook), with my partner. Fingers crossed there's good news soon 🩵

1 month na lang sana makaka 1 year na ako sa company, but I woke up to that meeting where they gave me the news.

I'm still in the process of taking everything in but I'm also actively looking for jobs now that I've updated my portfolio. This sucks, yet we push through. Hopefully I get into another AU agency.

Moved out for the very first time. Namiss ko agad katabi si Mommy pagtulog 😭 napaugly cry at 3 am thoughts pa ako pero 7 pm pa lang💀sabay tulog after bilang pang morning person ang body clock.

Sobrang gastos pag first time na move out but ik there's a lot of growth waiting sa akin! Here's to learning more about myself and w life in general 😌

Will be moving into this place, mabait naman yung landlord though I have yet to see yung exp ko w the place once I'm settled.

I'm thinking of buying my own ac eventually kasi old model na tong nasa unit mismo. Pinakaprio ko though is ref/everything pang cooking since I do meal planning and I'm wfh 🫡

Also, what else should I check sa unit besides sa furnitures/appliances provided? Thank you!
